The first word that comes to my mind about this restaurant is AMAZING, I mean seriously it's a hidden gem inside itself
You enter a very normal looking hotel find your way through a narrow corridor leaving behind the sauna room, Turkish bath, a pool table take a right turn then left and it's there, no it's not there's a small door at the very end written Pasha and you start thinking am I at the right. You open the door and bam the restaurant leaves you in astonishment it looks so cozy comfy and reminds you of your home.
So when you enter from that door you can either sit on the table or low sitting tables surrounded by overstuffed pillows which is so comfortable and I'll suggest you take that one.
The restaurant was empty and only two other people were there who seemed to be enjoying a lot.
I was so relaxed and amazed at the same time because the experience created by that narrow corridor.
So we started off with some Turkish coffee which seemed like a lighter version of espresso.
In starters we ordered Icli Kofte and what should I say those were really amazing so crisp and so fresh perfect balance between the different spices as well as the flavour of the lamb was intact so well.
For the main course we ordered Besh Barmak and it was so yummmmm just wow so well balanced onions broth tender beef and dumpling which looked like lasagna pasta but it was so damn amazing. A must try I should say
The other two things that we ordered were Chicken Alaturka again good but was nothing in front of the above mentioned dish and from the grill we ordered Adana Shashlik and to be honest it was not that good just a little below fine.
So to end up with we ordered black tea and along with that Chak Chak which very well complimented the tea and left us very much satisfied.
The quantity was good flavours were very well balanced.
The most important thing about the restaurant was its ambience its feel. So much felt like home and we sat there for 4 hours even after that we did not wanted to leave.
The person serving us was so nice friendly and he was really happy to talk to us about the food dishes and the restaurant.
Looking forward for a second visit.
A true hidden gem of Central Asian cuisine just off the Camberwell Road. Most definitely unassuming from the entrance, however once you reach the restaurant entrance through an interesting maze of corridors, you are transported to a large restaurant, beautifully decorated to allow traditional floor/cushioned seated areas as well as normal table and chairs etc, which produces an atmospheric setting. Opt for traditional seating and get the full experience. The food tastes great, an amazing fusion of Middle-eastern and Asian styles, very tasty indeed! Excellent friendly service, an absolute treat! Thanks to the team at Pasha.
A wonderful find!. No one would expect to find a restaurant right at the back end of a hotel front with no windows but there's one hidden off Camberwell Road.
We had the Pasha set for £16.50 for a three course meal and it was excellent. The starters were fresh with all the flavours complementing each other. The beef straganov as the main was very delicious, served with mushrooms and pickles over a bed of rice, and was better than the chicken alaturka was a bit salty but good enough. Dessert was fried doughy bits with raisin and a red sauce which is similar to a Chinese biscuit I had before. The meal ended with a hot tea and very good strong coffee!
Service was great and efficient and it's an amazing value for what we had. The room is beautifully decorated with colourful carpets and cushions and had a pleasant ambience. Highly recommended. (9/10)
p.s. there's the turkish bath too for anyone who fancies a scrub and a clean!
Amazing service and a wonderful Sushi experience . With live music and belly dance....never see anything like this place in london. If you are Sushi lover you must try this , if you love central Asian cuisine than you MUST TRY THIS PLACE . The owner and the staff are super friendly. All speak Russian. I was not too convinced by the food. The plov was almost bland. However, it’s quite cozy there. I like fact that you can enjoy your food while sitting on the floor.
The traditional Uzbek meals are lovely, especially samsa and dumplings were very delicious there. National decorations also can make you feel a bit like home, not much just a little bit.
Small quiet and cosy place to enjoy a meal. Food was excellent, very friendly staff. The belly dancing was good but show wasn't very long. Would recommend to others

The lady server, Olga, Your hostess at Pasha's will make You feel very welcome.
The food is very nice and well presented. Alas..
DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THE COCKTAILS.
They are rubbish - they all taste the same and the ingredients are cheap and do not even match what's on the menu. Stay away.
Stick with wine and Baltika Russian beer.
Pasha Restaurant (check the pics) looks good enough for a pasha. Exploring my Central Asian origins, I find that the cuisine is very pleasing (Grandad would have loved) and the menu so extensive that through kebabs, shashliks, dumplings, onto borshch via sushi and tempura it reaches as far as Japan. The food is really good.
The music matches the interiors and You can meet here some interesting characters, like a Kazakh forensic scientist, a Russian teacher, a Blonde Turkish drag queen on the arm of a Jamaican herbalist..a Ukrainian painter.. and if You are that way inclined, You could enjoy some social, political discussions, even talk about Eurovision, Turkish vision and Soviet history, Stalin, Borat and the alphabets used in ex USSR and art and love. Talk about love and art if You wish..
The place is quiet, romantic, for cameral tete a tetes. Many love stories started here...just relax on the cushions under the two swans and let Your imagination run wild..
On Saturdays there is belly dancing..
Crazy lovely Central Asian restaurant hidden away in the bowels of an unlovely hotel... Great Georgian and Kazakh food (not that I'm an expert, but I have had it before on a number of occasions) and huge portions.. Staff are friendly and welcoming and they have live music every Friday and Saturday night.. What's not to love!
We came there to experience Central Asian cuisine. It was in the evening. And how impressive it was when we entered and were offered to remove our shoes and sit on the extension of the floor covered with traditional carpets. It made us feel so special. The atmosphere was incredible. We felt like we were in Central Asia. The food was delicious. Desert I have never tasted anything like this. If you like different cuisine and completely unusual experiences you will fall in love with this place. Simply delicious. Thank you.
I had never eaten Uzbeki/Kazakh/kyrgyz food and stopped here on a whim. The inside is very big although it is a long way back from the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One man in particular joked with us and made us feel like he cared about us and our experience. The food was good and very tasty. I didn't know what to expect but actually the tastes were familiar and good. The portions were a good size and beer, starters and mains came to £40. I would definitely come back.
The restaurant was a long walk through Hotel Pasha, and was a pleasant surprise; a real contrast to the front view. You had a nice choice of tables and chairs, or cosy cross legged on the carpet, surrounded by cushions. The food was pretty standard, and I didn't think my lamb kebab was worth $12, it was chewy, with just a rice accompaniment. I'd recommend this place for a pleasant experience, but try to find an offer so you don't have to pay full price for the food.
Authentic. In every possible sense. Having been in central Asia, it definitely feels like you are there! The decoration, the food, everything is original. I came to try Kyrgyz cuisine and it definitely delivered on its promise. The food is very tasty and typical of the region. You definitely have to try their bread and a rice with spices. We were the only non Kyrgyz people there when we went which is really awesome! They had a guy playing local music, people dancing, chatting and eating all as it would happen in Kyrgyzstan. The only disadvantage is the area it is in, which is kind of rough.
A great experience. The atmosphere was fantastic - sumptuous decor and great central asian music. A belly dancer came on at one point which was fun. The food was tasty (as was the Georgian wine), although a little limited for vegetarians.
The food is very nice reminds me home and stuff is friendly. They also have live music and entertainment, which makes it an ideal place where you can eat and dance. You can see that cosy Central Asian atmosphere inside the restaurant. Just love it:)
