Fantastic pub I love it the staff are great help full and friendly they are there for you.The beer is always good and cold and the price will never be beaten. The food specials are great and one of the best I have eaten and great portions and always fresh and hot highly recommended and the best in London period.
A proper friendly pub. Manager Kim made us so welcome, good food, good beer and great service, all sports shown and entertainment. Nice outside seating area for smokers and non smokers. A local community pub who welcomed visitors .....just a pity we missed the Jamaican BBQ as we had to leave to catch a train.

Lol
Great food at a reasonable price. Beer also well priced great place to watch sport. Kim the manager was very helpful and hospitable. Friendly staff will be going back soon.
We entered 'The Old Bell' as we were tired and hungry and it had a old world charm from its looks. When we looked around we saw everyone enjoying a drink but no one was eating! We were too tired to move on so we ordered Beer battered Cod Fillet and Curry-Lover's Pie. Delicious food! Prepared fresh and served piping hot. The shortcrust pastry just melted in the mouth. A great value for money on the two meal deal. After a week we went back and had Steak and Bombardier Ale pie and Wholetail Scampi. Experience was the same as on the first day. Please don't change the chef before our next trip. Please!
Val, Norbert & El did a very great job here for all of my visits during my 10 day vacation here. Definitely would recommend The Old Bell to people. Great food, drinks & environment it is here!
🚇Kilburn High Road
🍺 £4.35 Carlsberg
❤️ A lively locals high street boozer.
.
The Old Bell is situated at the southern end of ever busy Kilburn High Road. The nearest station is Kilburn High Road which is literally next door, Kilburn Park Tube is a few minutes walk from here.
.
There has been a pub on this site since around 1600, the current building dates from 1839. During the 18th century Kilburn Wells, as the area was known then, had medicinal springs, including one in the grounds of the Old Bell pub.
.
This big old boozer is divided up in to three areas. At the front is the main bar which is is L shaped, has a parkay floor, plenty of seating including booths and is where the large servery is located. Just off the back of the main bar is a carpeted dining area which has a distinct Stonegate pub feel. At the rear of the pub is a massive beer garden that was renovated a couple of years ago.
.
The beer selection was full of familiar favourites plus three cask ales. I took it easy and decided on a Carlsberg, my pint was decent enough and cost less than a fiver. There is an American inspired comfort food menu which had some British pub grub choices too, Fish & Chips costs £9.49.
.
I arrived around 2pm and the place was buzzing. There were a group of Man U fans filtering out the door on their way to Wembley. The pub was packed with locals with the majority lapping up the summer sun in the beer garden. This place is great place to watch live sport, there are a multitude of screens dotted around the pub. The service here was excellent, the staff here were enthusiastic, engaging and personable.
.
Over the last twenty years, the big local community boozers have seen the biggest decline. This is mainly due property value, supermarket beer prices and they were also very difficult pubs to run. Here at the @old.bellkilburn it is thriving, it was great to spend time here. If you fancy a bit of retro pubbing, then this is the place for you.

This pub is becoming our favourite place in Kilburn since we have moved to the area. The service and the food is always fantastic never fails. Every staff are very friendly and lovely. I highly recommend the back garden where the atmosphere is always nice at any time of your visit. Also has brand new terrace furniture there which is great. Perfect for meeting with friends from the neighbourhood.
I was recommended the food in this pub and they exceeded my expectations. If you want a classic british pub with classic british pub grub and classic british hospitality, Linda and the team have you sorted.
Such a lovely place to enjoy a drink with friends watching sports. Great service, staff are amazing. Thanks to Norbert, Val for the amazing service.
I often find myself coming to the Old Bell, even though it’s not my local. It has a very night atmosphere, good pints (and for a pretty affordable price by London standards!) and good looking staff. I can’t recommend this place enough.
Wonderful find in kilburn. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff (Norbert in particular was a star).
Good range of well kept ales, alongside a wide selection of lagers at a good price.
Numerous TVs showing sports and a large and brilliant beer garden too.
Pub had a great atmosphere and will definitely be back!
Went on a very busy Saturday Night. Very pleasant bar man Phil, served us with drinks. We sat at a table where 2 very awkward punters were trying to accuse him of taking their drink. Phil dealt with the situation very calmly and professionally. He then apologised to us. Lovely
Nice place to have a pint and some food if you are around Kilburn!! Amazing beer garden, good vibes and cool customer service.
Great pub on the kilburn high road near maida vale. Food is very reasonably priced. My steak and ale pie with mashed potatoes was very good. Beer prices are competitive for the area. Nice beer garden for the summer. Strongly recommend.
Friendly staff, especially Norbert and Val. Good food, great beer (like in Ireland) and drinks. Great atmosphere to watch games. Place to come back
Great drinks, food & atmosphere every time we’re here. The staff are really friendly, particularly Lauren, Norbert & Val who are always more than happy to help.
Have been watching the rugby here lately and really enjoying myself. Bartender Euan has been especially helpful. Only thing that could improve is a better DJ 👀
Can only say since I started to come here I have been treated with the kindest respect and always had a lovely time , mainly from the staff :) always so welcoming and make you feel they truly like you x like part of there world ! Hats off to Lauren Ciara and the main man himself Val … just big respect to them all x
Nice big pub with a good backyard garden for fresh air.
Val, Norbert and Ri Were amazing at service. If y’all want to dine in here please look out for them. The best pub in kilburn and arguably London.
I love this place. Brilliant beer garden, unpretentious, serves good wholesome grub with massive portions. Feels like a proper pub, not all pine floors and bright lights like some others nowadays.
