Nice staff...good coffee. Outdoor seats catch the sun.
Extremely charismatic and friendly staff, extraordinary coffee, and energetic atmosphere is hard to beat. The veggie sandwich was delish. This cafe was a highlight of my trip, highly recommend!
Kat Blanca Anton and Lloyd have been wonderful the coffee was excellent the customer service is at top class cappuccino was amazing well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A welcoming and trendy feeling coffee shop.
Staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Being a fairly small coffee shop there is limited table space, staff quickly realised we were struggling to find space for our party of 5 and very politely asked two solo coffee drinkers if they wouldn't mind sharing one table, thereby allowing us to sit down. This felt above and beyond the usual call of duty, which we were very greatful for.
Excellent coffees and freshly prepared sandwiches. The only downside was the speed at which the food and drinks came out, although we were in no rush, so not a problem on this occasion.
My partner and I frequent this place often and it never disappoints. The staff are very friendly, the sandwiches are incredible and the coffee is the best in all of south london. Highly recommend!
This is my first visit to Stir Coffee, and it won’t be my last. From the moment you step across the threshold, you know you’ve arrived at a great cafe - the vibe pulls you in. The music. The decor. The great smell of high quality coffee. The selection of food. The staff.
I ordered the Parma ham sandwich- rosemary focaccia bread, pesto, rocket, cheese, tomato, Parma ham. Utterly delicious. I ate it so fast, my camera’s shutter wasn’t fast enough to capture the sandwich before I devoured it. So, I went up to the counter and snapped a picture of one of the sandwiches in the case.
My absolute favorite local coffee place! The staff are all so incredibly lovely and make you feel like a regular no matter how many times you’ve been. The coffee is also super delish and their Reuben sandwiches are to DIE for. Beware it’s Brixton’s worst kept secret so it gets busy, but such a great place to work from or pop in for a break from the hustle and bustle of the high street
I passed by the place so many times before and it always looked packed. Today, I finally managed to visit it for the first time and it's oh soo very lovely. Great service, absolutely amazing coffee and great sandwiches. Easy 5 ⭐s.
Very nice coffee from Assembly. Small place, clean toilet, very good wifi. You will find good quality beer 🍺. Latte cost £ 2.70. Friendly people, clean tables with nice flowers 🌺. You will find all kind spoons inside.
Great coffee very friendly service a bit busy but to expected as the place is grate really good food and pet friendly too
When an coffee shop won’t go larger than an 8oz serving you know they care about their coffee :)
A shabby chic styled cafe with a friendly laidback atmosphere that is obviously very popular with a loyal local following.
Great range of coffees to buy mainly from the Mission Coffee works. The milk is, Estate Dairy and created specifically for baristas -
It’s delicious 😋
The main expresso roast I tried was full bodied, smooth and full of chocolate notes.
There’s a range of tasty cakes on offer and I tried one of the artisan sandwiches - the haloumi and guacamole bun which toasted was delicious.
Prices are good for London and there’s plenty of seating including some quirky old church pews.
Went for the coffee, stayed for the sandwiches. The Reuben sandwich was excellent and washed down with a strong long black was a great lunch treat. Sandwiches are pretty fairly priced for a Brixton (hipsterish) coffee shop and are worth it. Nice seating area at the front, towards the windows; there are benches and also stools to sit at the windows. Highly recommend if you’re on the hill.
Really really amazing coffee and super friendly staff, never been disappointed with this local cafe.
Nice little addition to coffee burgeoning specialty coffee scene on Brixton hill. Initially came here to sample some of Berlin's finest in man Vs machine ...but apparently it's only one of many guests! :-(
Anyway generally relaxed ambience, with a selection of benches and tables to sit on. Staff are friendly if a little pushy (one verging on irritable which adds to a bitter taste). Speaking of which - coffee was fab, which is probably the most important factor.
What a sweet little gem off the main Clapham high street chains! It's tiny but super tasty and the homely feel from the room and the lovely staff makes all the difference!
Great coffee and atmosphere- just wished they opened slightly earlier on the weekend as they are a great stop off for a morning walk to Brockwell park.
This has always been the best local gem!
In fact, we moved away from Brixton and still travel to Stir coffee shop every other week to have their coffee.
The quality of coffee is THE best, sometimes we go back again for a second one.
The cakes and sandwiches are very fresh and tasty.
Staffs are very friendly and funny!
If you are in the area and not making a trip to this coffee shop, you are missing out!
My local coffee shop, absolutely wonderful place! Coffee, staff and food are great!
Beautiful and cosy coffee shop and their coffee is delicious too. I will definitely come back to try their food. Very friendly staff who were happy to pose for a picture 😊
