Had a great day! I enjoyed eating the melt burger and a pepperoni pizza. It was definitely the best burger I’ve had a in a few years. The pizza was also well cooked (not undercooked like most places) and is of very good size and quality for the price. The staff was polite and I didn’t have to wait a decade to receive my food👌🏾. Would definitely recommend anyone to go there for lunch or dinner!

Great pub, lovely staff! Super friendly and warm environment! Love the rainbow rap that they do on their lunch menu. Defo a great spot for a bite to eat! Wine is always amazing also.

🚇 Canonbury 🍺 £5.20 Heineken ❤️ Victorian splendour with a modern day twist. . The Cellar Taps is located in Newington Green and is just a stones throw away from the leafy green that gives this area its name. The nearest station is Canonbury which is a five minute stroll away. . Built in 1868, this recently renovated pub still maintains some original features and clues to the pub’s heritage. Firstly, you have the pub’s original name, The Edinburgh Tavern which is lettered down the corner of the pub. Then the multiple entrance’s, this now one bar pub would have had a public, saloon and billiard room. Be sure to enter this pub by the left side door to see the beautiful Victorian tiled entrance. . The decor here has a contemporary mix of new and old. The stand out features for me are the columns, ceiling, back bar woodwork and the large atrium in the once billiard room at the back of the bar. The large picture windows flood the bar with light which makes for a bright and airy feel. There are some modern touches like the wallpaper, pendant lighting and multiple screens showing live sport. . The beer choice was good, there is lots to choose from including four cask and several craft options. I opted for a Heineken, my pint was great and reasonably priced at just over a fiver. The food menu is full of comfort food with an emphasis on Burgers and Wings, a bacon and cheese burger with skinny fries costs £13.50. . I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, there is a nice buzz around the main bar area with a more chilled vibe at the rear of the bar. The clientele was a good mix of young and old and the service was great. The staff here were chatty and personable and clearly enjoyed what they do. . The @thecellartapsnewingtongreen was an excellent visit, I loved the pub and the vibe here. The beer and food options are good and the price point is great. Great atmosphere in here and very friendly staff. Good beer selection and super dog friendly - guests and bar staff were really friendly with our border terrier. We had burgers and they were OK. I'd 100% recommend for drinks.

Came here today for the first time, while out with the family in Stoke Newington. Very friendly staff, great service and decent grub. They have big screens up, so we watched the England rugby game. Recommended

Loved our little meal out. Cheap and cheerful, super lovely sraff serving us and board games to entertain whilst we waited. Helpful with choosing too and will definitely be going back. The staff were super and the food was lovely! £10 burger and drink deal was great (not all burgers but some!)

Lovely staff, nice food and great selection of craft beers my group ordered a lot of cocktails and we were happy to see it was 2 for 1. Also the outside even thought it is small is so nice to sit and enjoy the sun! The toilets were very nice and service was quick! would definitely recommend to people who want to try craft beers and for people who like a homey, barish, open and lovely pub.
