The venue for Friends of the Royal Academy, at the side of the RA. There's quite a lot here and it really makes membership seem like a great deal, on top of free access to their exhibitions. Have just popped in for coffee so far but in addition to the sort of cafe area from before the recent refurbi
This has a lovely vibe. RA membership till 4pm then open to the puplic. Prices are high but outside terrace and a variety of rooms makes this a hidden secret.
Wonderful for a quiet lunch or supper; an absolute haven. The food and service are great. But above all, the atmosphere is so peaceful!
You need to be a Friend of the RA. Lovely relaxed facilities to take a break - cafe, lounge, restaurant, bar and garden. Expensive to eat and drink but excellent quality.
A moment of quiet in the centre of Mayfair. Don't miss the garden, it's rich with trees and plants and makes you feel like you're a million miles from London.
Can be quite busy if you go in at peak times but it's a nice sanctuary from the rest of the academy.

Amazing place to visit for cocktail and bar snacks.
