What a great evening. From the moment we arrived the staff were excellent, friends but fun too. The acting was nothing short of brilliant and the whole thing was an excellent performance. The only thing I would have liked is for it to have gone on a bit longer but that’s only because we were enjoying it so much. We will definitely be back with friends next time. Don’t miss out on this amazing experience!

Absolutely hilarious! We loved this experience from start to finish and could not stop laughing the entire performance! The acting was fantastic and the jokes so funny! The food was very good (lacked a little salt). The cocktails were delicious. We came as a birthday celebration and had the best time! ...left thinking we could be in gravy danger!!!

A fun experience with entertainment, rather than a regular lunch. Roast chicken is a bit dry. Halal food is available.

What an amazing experience enjoyed every minute the food was nice but felt it fell a little short of their master chef claims, the staff were amazing friendly helpful, the show was funny playful and entertaining, the atmosphere was great. But it did feel a little rushed.

This was such a great experience. I was genuinely stunned by how much of a good time we had. The ambiance was very immersive straight from the start. I brought my partner here as a surprise and he was so amazed, I highly recommend doing the same if possible. It’s so original, no one every expects it. The decor was perfect, and man were the actors good! They were very goofy and fun, we had such a laugh. I hope they read this cause they were awesome. The food was insane and the cocktails even more so. The cherry on top was that we were sat in front of another couple. They were about our age and we had a great time, became friends and went to another bar after it was all over. We suspect the management knew our ages and put us together specifically for that reason, as we could have been paired up with older couples with whom we wouldn’t have had much in common. So for that, I wish I could add another five stars. I’ll end it by saying that the entire staff was so sweet and accommodating. Really, it’s a once in a lifetime experience and I’d recommend it, it’s worth the price. I wish I could go again!

This experience was quite unique. It was a delicious four course meal ( catering well for vegetarians and vegans) with an immersive whodunit theatre. Once inside 63 Pedley Street, you are transported back to a 1920s style train station. There is a platform bar with an extensive cocktail menu ( with 2020s prices! Since this is accessed using a QR code, it is very 21st century!) You board the 'Murdér Express', which is decked out like a train cartridge dining car. You are served a tasty meal interspersed with with actors playing the parts of the conductor, the heiress, the explorer, the inspector plus others. Having been to another murder mystery event, the actors and script was far better at this event. Well done to the part of Marie who, we understand, understudied at the last minute. We thoroughly enjoyed the event and chatted to the others on our table as well as when the actors joined us. I've rated this experience 4 stars since it was quite expensive. In particular there is a service charge added when you order drinks. But perhaps we have to get used to everything getting more expensive these days...

Wow...what an excellent experience. From the service to the food and drinks. The atmosphere was spot on. Acting and engagement with every guest was just brilliant. This was so much more than I expected. If your in the area this is a must.

My daughter and I had a wonderful trip on the Murder Express. The staff and food are lovely, serving a top-class 4 course menu worthy of the Orient Express itself. The train setting feels authentic and the drama is very well acted and extremely entertaining. Be prepared for an exhausting briefing before you board the train, also ordering drinks on the app is a pain at first. I would have liked to see a more obvious photo opportunity - we didn’t find anywhere obvious to take a picture to remind us of a great experience.

Excellent, hilarious performance. The most fantastic service! We informed about our food allergies very late and the chef and serving team made such excellent changes to the menu to accommodate our allergies. Absolutely loved the conductor and the doctor❤️Beef shank to die for, sinful dessert and heady cocktails😋. Thank you for making our birthday boy's evening so special! 💖 Will be back in November for sure!

I came here for an event and we were a big group, the experience was fantastic, the actors were very good and I ended up feeling very unwell when I was there (no fault of the experience), and the staff were so amazing and really went above and beyond for me. They were caring, attentive and kept a close eye on me, even letting me go outside for some air when I really struggled. The kindness they showed me was very touching and I cannot thank them enough for this aspect alone. There was some confusion with drinks (we weren’t very good at using the app) and the bar manager was so kind, patient and efficient, I just cannot express how amazing all the staff were. Thank you!

Had a wonderful evening with great company, delicious food and amazing entertainment. This was truly a magical evening from the moment we walked through the door, we were submerged into a theatrical ambiance with the decor to match. The staff were helpful and extremely friendly and the stars of the evening were the actors. They made the train ride come to life. It felt intimate and believable throughout. Cannot recommend this enough for people. Ill certainly be back again. Food was 5* too😊

One of the best night outs I've ever had! Worth every penny! So much fun and was so creative food was sensational and was so lucky to have a vegan menu. The cast involved you in the plot as well which was hilarious. The gentleman (lady?) With the cat had me in stiches! Not for the easily offended

This was an amazing experience، the staff and actors were great! Bought it via Groupon which was at a very good price. Also loved that they had a halal option with chicken too! 😋😋

We had a really great time here! Good story line and actors really played their parts well. They even interacted with us and with the train setting et, built a setting that made us feel we were on the train! The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and food was fantastic! I had the Bailey's expesso cocktail twice which was absolutely delicious - but expensive. I wish they had given us some discount on the drinks - I ended up spending 50+ quid on 4 cocktail s. We did feel it was a bit short at 1hr 30 to 2 hours - and found the chocolate dessert a bit too rich - although they are looking to change it. The general manager Caspian was great and everyone was very welcoming! Definitely can't wait to attend another furnicular productions - although won't spend as much on drinks! Definitely worth going and enjoying the experience and meeting new people!

Everything is well timed, so ensure that you are ready at the venue at the time instructed. As soon as you enter the doors you are already inside the action. The welcome staff are part of the action and you immediately feel like you are boarding the train. Whilst you get settled with a drink (they have a QR code system to order drinks) some of the actors start to introduce themselves, mingling amongst the audience. You are given the opportunity to buy a newspaper (which we mistook to be free and required as a tool to help solve the murder mystery. The newspaper cost £2.50 which I felt was rather steep. But was a souvenir of sorts). The baileys cocktail was good, as was the old fashion. Once you were in the carriage all the action took place, and during the scenes we were served our different courses. You could continue to buy drinks using your QR code throughout. Each table seated 6 people, so if you were part of a group less than that, you were seated with strangers. The amuse bouche and starter were very disappointing. A boiled tomato and then a sautéed leek. Ot would have been better if they combined the costs and time for these two courses into one and made it better. The chicken and beef mains were tasty. The chocolate was very rich, but probably the best course of them all. Nearer the end we felt more rushed to eat dessert and get out of the carriage; so the next audience could enter. The toilets being part of the design set was a nice touch, as was the station soundtrack playing in the background on the speakers. The toilets were unisex and there were only 3 available, so timing is crucial. The actors were hilarious and they handled some obstructive audience members well and with charm. This is not really a who dunnit mystery where the audience try to deduct the murderer. Instead it was more a an immersive comedy theatre show. I managed to get a good deal on Groupon, which made the whole experience worth the money.

We would like to say a big thank you to all the staffs at The Murder Express. Each one of them were very polite and helpful. When we arrived we were asked if we had any special requirements from seating to eating, and the rules for safety were explained in a very short and friendly way. From the moment we entered the train we were entertained the whole way and we could not find fault with anyone, from the actors and actresses to the staffs who served us. I have not spent such an enjoyable time for a long while. The meal was delicious, four courses and a big thank you to the kitchen staffs as the food was first rate. We were mixed bunch from a hen party, tourists and some older people. It was a joy to watch so many people laughing and having a wonderful time. We will not tell you too much about the journey or the murder as we might spoil it for you, but it was worth every penny. Thank you again. Rita and Vivian

We arrived a bit late but that wasn't a problem as they give you time to have a drink and settle in before the show starts. Very nice food and cocktails. The actors stay in character throughout and engage with you. Good laugh, would recommend.
