Cozy atmosphere, good music, friendly service and delicious food. I had the smoked haddock chowder with a pint of Canopy lager. Perfection!
I'm always happy here with the menu of the day. Prices are good (a bit cheaper than what you would expect in Herne Hill). I like the variety and food is good. Very village atmosphere on weekends too.
Such a lovely place. Great service, amazing atmosphere, big portions The only problem was great home made burger I asked for medium rare, but it was well done :( thats why 4 stars only
The full vegan is just amazing! Perfect little brunch today!
Reasonable prices £28.10 for a big plate of of Croque Monsieur/Fish finger burger salad and fries. Food was very good. Service? Well the waitress was overwhelmed by a sudden rush of customers. Small point why do people take their kids out for meals and then just let them (and the parents) play with
Great food, fab staff. Lovely atmosphere. Varied British/European menu with daily specials and good veggie options always freshly cooked by good chefs. Great value, never let us down, super service. Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner. Lovely place for a coffee or a meal. Highly recommended.
Popped in for lunch one Sunday afternoon recently, and we were really impressed. The staff were very friendly, the menu was good (brunch items, sandwiches, burgers and two roasts), and our food (fish finger sandwich and lamb burger) was delicious. Perhaps not the cheapest prices for lunch, but the
Really special valentines meal, lovely little touches. All the food was insanely good and they certainly don't scrimp on portion size! we shared a two person paella and I estimate there must have been at least 40 huge shell on prawns in there! Sumptuous. Really nice local feel, thoroughly recommend.
Had a really lovely meal here, and the staff were super friendly. Steak night sirloin for £14 was good value and really beautifully cooked. It's the sort of place you don't find so often in London - it feels more like a neighborhood bistro in Paris. I'd highly recommend a visit.
Lovely little place, I finally checked it out after being on my bucket list for ever. Very cute, the menu could be a bit more varied and the service was on its limit because it was so busy. But I liked it and would come again. Ideal for a little lowkey brunch.
Love this place. A local institution. A lovely relaxed friendly cosy place to have a great meal. The smoked haddock on linguine is best comfort food ever. Great place to meet with friends for a catch up. Kids menu during day is really good too.
Adam and his team make a cozy, cool atmosphere that feels like home, only cleaner, and better food! He and his staff deliver customer service of an exceptional quality. The lamb burgers are to die for, and the prices are always super reasonable! A Herne Hill gem that has proved its quality and resil
Ageing is a gradual acceptance of one’s diminishing relevance in the world. First we’re born and for the lucky amongst us we spend a blissful few years at the centre of our parents’ worlds, we are more than relevant, we are the world. We went on a Friday night for dinner and it was great.
