Great place. Friendly staff, sensible prices and good music at weekends. Not eaten there yet but the food looks lovely so I'm sure it won't be long. Try it - you won't be disappointed (and this from a Yorkshireman).
I had the best Brazilian meal in London so far !
Very friendly staff and very cozy place
I thoroughly enjoyed it , the food was lovely , savoury, sweet tapioca , definitely recommend I know that normally at weekends is some live music on but I have to say that I loved the fact that it was quieter, good environment to have a good chat over lovely food... not forgetting the friendly staff , smiling and happy delivering a high quality of customer service.
Thanks
Our visit was superb the food was to die for, I was given a knife and fork to eat my order of ribs but I didnt need the knife it was so tender and just fell apart. Thanks for an enjoyable night
Excellent food, excellent atmosphere and even more excellent staff! Always with a smile! I truly recommend it as one of the top spots in London
Driven passed here on many occasions and always wondered what it was like. Finally popped in to watch Portugal play Poland in the Euro's and was happy I did. Had Coxinha some chicken heart skewers and mocequa with a few beers. Food was decent and the staff were friendly. Atmosphere was nice. I would definitely recommend trying it out if you are in the area.
Authentic food + drinks, friendly service and fun music! :) Obrigada pelos bons tempos aí! :D I recommend the forró nights ;)
Best food, best guys - proper Brazilian experience!
I love tia Maria. Every time I go with my friends we always have a good time . The employee's are very friendly, the food is AMAZING , and the live music oooo just the cherry in the cake .
Ambiente fantastico, boa comida, cerveja bem gelada, musica boa e um staff super simpatico... recomendo
Good food. Huge portions. Really decently priced. I'd go back again!
Rented the apartment for the night. Great value and great people that run the place. Very friendly service. I didn't have time to dine with them.
Food is delicious! I had coxinha and the palms of heart stroganoff! My friend had the feijoada! Very tasty and great presentation. We will definitely coming back! Also the waitress was fantastic!
Great food, friendly staff and nice cocktails
I’ve been to this place twice. They offer legit Brazilian food, and some dishes have a “British” twist. First time I was with a larger group, we shared different starters and mains and it was quite good- we had feijoada, coxinhas, caçava and alikes. Loads of caipirinhas, passion fruit juice and brigadeiros. Couldn’t wait to go back. Second time I went with a friend on a Sunday, we were the firsts to arrive for lunch. Dishes came quite quickly (coxinhas, mini pastés and stroganoff) but unfortunately they were cold. Quite disappointing. Slightly pricey. I heard is a cool place to hang out among Brazilians in the evening but never been.
I found it quite interesting. Quite a few dishes that I didn’t know and it was a pleasure to try them and most of them very very tasty. The atmosphere is all right. Even if they were starting to play some love music. The stuff is not the friendliest to be honest.
Amazing service! We loved the owner, he took the time to welcome us and make us feel at home. It was very lively, definetely recommand it for drinks or a bite. The beer garden looks really good.
I can’t find the words to describe my experience at Tia Maria this evening !!!!! I had the best time with my friends. The caipirinha was amazing (my only feedback is to put a little bit less ice though), the food was outstanding and the live music performance was absolutely GREAT !!!! Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere! I can’t believe it took me over 4 years to get to know this fantastic place! Well done, guys ! I will be definitely coming back !
Came here twice. The first night was better. There was no entrance fee and the atmosphere was better. The live Brazilian Farro music was supurb.

Really nice place with authentic Brazilian food and friendly staff. Perfect place to listen to Brazilian music while eating tapas. The coxinhas are a must!!! My friend Gustavo loved the place so much he didn't want to leave and we had to drag him out! Strongly recommend!!
An easy recommendation. The staff were lovely, the ambience was great (was outside in beer garden), and the food was very good—especially given it was very reasonably priced for something so unique. Pictured is the full meat fejoida.
