This afternoon i had the pleasure of popping into the Albert Tavern
As it was under new management,
And i am so glad i did
First of all i was warmly greeted by Dwayne,
And i can honestly say the service/food/cleanliness was great, and i also found there prices we're very reasonable

Nice local pub, reopened after several years closed and owing to community pressure for this place, rather than the demolition of and replacement with an identikit block of flats.

Tammy and the team are dedicated and amazing. They know the community well and have your drinks ready as you enter with a smile. They lay on great entertainment and the place is always busy. 29/9/2023 is the date of this review. My previous review celebrated the re-opening of the Albert after Covid. It is now under new management and has been so for a few months now. The toilets are clean as is the whole pub, the ale is well managed and the food is prepared nicely and well cooked. Dwain
