Reasonably priced pub only 5 minutes walking distance from Oxford street. The food and service were all good and the prices were very reasonable for central London. It wasn't packed and there was plenty of space, so, yes, a good place to have a meal and drink!

A top class establishment, I would highly recommend you get down to this place if you're in the local area. The staff are very friendly and the food is top class. Bookmark this spot for the next time you're in town. Great value as well!

Superb pub! Excellent place! A historic piece of architecture that needs to be protected at all costs! Well-worth a visit! Look up the influential people who have visited it! Writers, artists-incredible energy of a place! Bless those who take care of it! ❤️❤️❤️

Classic gem just hidden away enough. 1 hand pull on, which was very good and Guinness was good too. Took the pie deal 2 for £19 something kids had a selection of tapas type dishes, my pie (stilton and beef) was excellent. Well filled with tender chunks, wife had chicken and ham and leeks, it looked great. Side veg were cooked perfectly

We hired the upstairs room for a function. The room itself was perfect for what we needed it for. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. Would thoroughly recommend this venue

It's really the best pub in London. I tasted one of the best guinesses ever there. The food is absolutely banging. The staff are very friendly as well.

Cosy pub with friendly & helpful staff. Limited selection of beers & food during December 2020 due to Covid (especially veggie options), however we were happy they were open & had a great time during our visit. Booking is essential during the pandemic. Top spot & I look forward to coming back again soon. The toilets are upstairs, so might not be suitable for those with accessibility needs.
