Beautiful food, really yummy (we ordered far too much, so many nice things to choose!) and fab cocktails. Staff are great - I would recommend this place definitely. Thank you ❤️
Very nice modern restaurant. Kind ,quick ,helpful staff! My Groom not thai food lover ,until today! He like it what we choosed him! Food was very delicious ! We will go back again ! Recommend for everyone! Thank you!
Took my wife for a birthday treat last night and the food n service was Fantastic. When I booked online and told them it was my wife's birthday meal and wanted a table by the wall, which they gave us (wife was very happy for that!), and also brought out a birthday dessert and sang happy birthday!!, the fact is is that they rememberd to do it unlike the restaurant my wife took me to for my birthday!!. We have been to this restaurant many times and have always enjoyed our food. Will deffo be back.
lovely food! staff sometimes come across as a little rude but overall the experience is great and the food is so tasty!
Its a beautiful place we really have fun, the food was yummy and the service was good from Lingling.
Service, food and cocktails all excellent. Highly recommend

Great food, and an amazing waitress!! WOW.
After a devastating flood forced it to close for 11 months this popular Thai restaurant has now re-opened – re-furbished and re-energised. Peter Morrell and his wife pay a visit. In December 2016 a water main burst outside Thai Square, it was so severe that it forced the restaurant to close. Now 11 months later it has re-opened after extensive renovation. There is now dining space on the ground floor and upstairs a new late-night cocktail bar and space for a live band. The new décor is very stylish with a large ‘living wall’ reflecting the forests of Thailand and paintings by artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo and others.
The newly re-opened Islington branch is offering 50% off food until November 16 2017 from the a la carte menu. Visit the SWAG section of the London on the Inside website, or scroll three pages down the Offers section of the Thai Square website for instructions about getting the discount.
The space is lovely, with living green plant walls and good acoustics.
I am surprised that other reviewers complained about lack of authenticity. We ordered very carefully from their small selection of Isaan (NE Thaiand) dishes and were quite happy with mains. We also got the mixed appetizers for two, which was bog standard issue Brit pub Thai. Chicken satay was tender but not cooked over charcoal. The deep fried elements of prawn tempura, vegetable spring roll and prawn toast were all a bit greasy, so fried at too low a temperature. The dipping sauce was just a commercially prepared sweet chilli sauce. The satay sauce also came out of a jar. The starters weren't promising.
Happily we ordered more carefully for mains. We shared Weeping Tiger, Som Tam and sticky rice. This type of meal of barbecued meat, spicy salad of unripe fruit and sticky rice is something I've eaten often in Northern Thailand. Weeping Tiger, or rare grilled beef on salad was tender and nicely charred at high heat. Accompanying Nam Jin Jaew dipping sauce was made with tamarind and punchy and bright. Not quite as herbal and complex as versions I've eaten in Thailand but the balance of sweet, salt, sour, heat was right.
Som tam was good too. Missing maybe the funk of pickled crab or dried shrimp, but the basic palate of exuberant contrasting flavours did remind me of salads I've eaten in Thailand.
Ambience - great at first look with buddhist theme, textured walls, orchids, palms and nicely blended furniture.
Food - started with spring rolls as apetizers. Went with pad tang tak and requested the chef to do a veg variant with bean sprouts, springs and light sweet soy. It had a pleasant, delicate and authentic taste to my likes and went well with shiraz. This dish is small in portion but that was fine with my apetite.
Friends went with veg noodles and chicken fried rice but had to use chilli flakes and sauce to spice up the main course. Request in accordance to your taste. Overall a nice experience and worth having lunch at.
I rate it at 4 while my friends do a 3 and 3.5.
I loved this place and not just because of the several £5 glasses of zingy apple-y Chenin I polished off while there.
The walls adorned with Thai art and rosy, dim lights create a cosy and intimate vibe to the restaurant, which is reinforced by the friendliness of the staff.
So I'm comfy and a little tipsy - I'm already a fan. Oh, and it's not even 6pm. And then our waitress tells us about their early bird/ pre-theatre type deal which was about £11 for two courses and a wide variety of choices. Oh. Wow. Their normal menu is even more extensive and prices average out at £8 - £12 for a main.
As for recommendations, be boring and get the chicken curry because it's anything but - spicy, packed with lemongrass and coriander and so ridiculously more-ish.
Just be aware that the food here is SPICY, and that's coming from a spice lover. But go, enjoy, and use the spiciness as the excuse for why you're accidentally quite drunk at 7pm on a Tuesday night.
Cane here for lunch by chance. The restaurant interior looks like one of those fake tropical caves in amusement parks...can't really decide whether it is a good thing or not. The food was very authentic which means it when it was spicy it was REALLY spicy! Overall good value for money with good service and lovely food.
I love the Massaman curry. It's good quality. Nice service and the place looks good. I would suggest NOT to take the starters, there are always super greasy and not fresh (microwave re-heat)
Thai Square is one of 1st Thai restaurants that I have been to. I discovered my love for thai curries when I went to Thai Square. The decor is apt and just perfectly lit up for a cozy dinner. I have been here a couple of times and I enjoy the silence and calm feeling that this place has.
Green thai curry is very good and still ranks at no.1 for me. Vegetarian Green Thai Curry with sticky rice is a wholesome meal. The food is perfectly warm and fragrant. Food portions are decently sized.
This place has been around for over a decade and always delivers quality while also being affordable. We ordered curry with egg fried rice and pad Thai to share which came to £44. Really flavorful red curry and the decor with a real moss wall gives a warm and organic ambiance. The food arrived quickly and service was great even though it was busy. Will definitely return to try the tasting menu next time.

Food to Thai for!
Had a wonderful couple of hours at this amazing restaurant recently.
The staff were lovely, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
You can make this place your 'somewhere special'.
Lovely atmosphere to suit everyone.
Spotless clean bathroom, bigger than my kitchen!
Starters, main course, desserts all professionally and authentically prepared...very reasonably priced.
You will be missing out if you don't try this place.
The best Irish coffee I have had the pleasure of enjoying in over 40 years in London.
I couldn't make it better myself.
We will visit again,
Thank You

Dinner was great, one of my favourite Thai places in London. The server Ohm was friendly, attentive and flexible. I've had a special request that was outside menu and he made it happen.
Came here for dinner and it was nice. The vibe was really nice and chilled.
The staff were nice and the food was good, it was a little too salty for me personally but my favourites were the Thai milk tea and the mango sticky rice.
Good location close to Angel station, nice selection of traditional Thai dishes and a daily lunch 2 course menu for 16£ per person. Lovely flavours. Will be coming back for more.
A hum dinger of a Thai restaurant. O.M.G the duck red curry is to x-x for! So delicious. So good. So tasty 😋
... Great service by a fine waiter who goes by the name of Ohm. Ohm to joy!
Stumbled upon this restaurant whilst walking around Angel/Islington. Recently came back from Bangkok, Thailand and was craving mango sticky rice! This place did not disappoint! Eating with my eyes closed and I could as well be back in Thailand!
The restaurant is clean, chairs are comfortable. Staff are gentle and polite.
The food we ordered were not salty and spiced which we like, others may think they are too plain.
Lunch menu is great.
At first sight, the food was dressed beautifully and it smelled amazing as well as it tasted . Always be here on weekdays and i can’t get enough of its ‘green curry’. Staffs are super friendly and able to recommend me with pleasure. Overall I really love this restaurant. Love the atmosphere also. Busy hours here might take a bit longer time to service but it’s definitely worth waiting and paying. 💙
Really nice meal. Service from Peachy was excellent and attentive.
Food was generally good - could do with being a bit warmer. For the price point would expect more attention to detail such as providing serving spoons but would come back
The service was excellent and everyone could not have been more helpful. The food came quickly and was delicious. A varied menu with a few surprises such as Drunken Duck - delicious. It was my birthday and a lovely brownie and I’ve cream with a candle appeared as a surprise birthday cake. Really lovely. Would recommend.
Looked super fancy and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. My vegetarian Pad Thai was delicious!
Great place. Delicious food. Curries are flavourful, rice is cooked perfectly. Love the ambience too. Only minor is the small dessert menu. Lovely service from Peachy
Amazing food in a great atmosphere, with a fast service. The food was super tasty and there were good vegan options.
Went with my partner for a quick lunch, and the food was great! Peachy has taken a great care of us. Salt and pepper Tofu appetiser was incredible, definitely going again.
The food was great and the services was amazing! We were served by Ohm, very kind and great waiter at this restaurant! Can’t wait to eat here again.
Lovely food, friendly staff, very accommodating to groups. Only thing was with a group of 10 we were only able to use 2 cards and/or cash so it was a bit inconvenient for each of us to send our amounts to one person to be able to pay. Other than that I enjoyed my meal and the decor was lovely. Would highly recommend and would eat here again. I had the butterfly Prawns for starters and the Thai special fried rice with Prawns.
