Found this place on Google map by accident and decided to have dinner here, which was a good decision. I had a very nice experience here. Really outstanding service and sushi!! I prefer to have avocado rather than cucumber in the California roll and I was so glad they did! Fresh salmon and avocado went perfectly with sushi rice and the white sesame coating. People there are so welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to come back to try other food on the menu!

Delicious, freshly made sushi. We had two sushi sets and some hot starters (agedashi tofu and edamame) and everything was phenomenal. Nice service and atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

I recently had an incredible dining experience at Sushi Murasaki. We ordered a variety of rolls including the salmon avocado roll, tuna avocado roll, California roll, crispy rice tuna, and the special Murasaki roll. Every dish was a culinary delight, exhibiting the restaurant's mastery in sushi preparation. The freshness of the ingredients, harmonized with perfectly seasoned sushi rice, made each roll an explosion of sublime flavor. The standouts were undoubtedly the crispy rice tuna and the Murasaki roll, both of which tantalized our taste buds with their unique textures and robust flavors. Sushi Murasaki has managed to craft an innovative menu while maintaining consistent excellence in taste, earning it a well-deserved spot on any sushi lover's must-visit list. We'll undoubtedly become regular patrons of this exceptional restaurant. Highly recommended!

Possibly the best Japanese restaurant in London. Excellent sushi and delicious dishes. Cosy environment and a very kind and caring service. Value for money is top considering the food quality and the money you pay. Definitely a must if you look for authentic Japanese cuisine

Most dishes were fresh and good however there seems to be a propensity to douse sweet sauces on some dishes like the aubergine dish. Abut I salmon was delicious! Hamachi/yellow tail carpaccio was very good. Overall, good food but not amazing compared to some good sushi places. Ambience is excellent. Staff seemed very nice. Prices are a bit high for what the food is.

We had lunch for the first time at this restaurant earlier today. The sushi sets were fresh, delicious and good value. We also ordered a few items from the a la carte menu - the aubergine with miso and the tempura prawns were excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely visit again.

My dining experience at Sushi Murasaki was nothing short of spectacular. Our order included a diverse selection of rolls such as the salmon avocado roll, tuna avocado roll, California roll, crispy rice tuna, and the exceptional Murasaki roll. Every item served was a testament to the restaurant's exceptional sushi-making prowess. The ingredients used were fresh and expertly paired with impeccably seasoned sushi rice, culminating in an unparalleled gustatory experience. The standout dishes were certainly the crispy rice tuna and the Murasaki roll, both presenting an unforgettable combination of flavors and textures. Through its innovative menu and a persistent dedication to taste, Sushi Murasaki has carved out a niche for itself in the hearts of sushi enthusiasts. This remarkable restaurant has earned our loyalty and we look forward to frequent visits. Enthusiastically recommended! (Wouldn’t have the same thoughts for mochi)

A lovely Japanese restaurant tucked away in Maida Vale's Lauderdale Road. I can't believe I never tried this restaurant before in ally years of living in the neighborhood. Pop in before 7pm to avoid the crowd. Must try: ✓ Yuzu honey tea ✓ Salmon skin inside out roll ✓ Miso soup Make sure you book a table before popping in to avoid disappointment. Itadakimasu! #japanesecuisine #japan

First meal out since COVID-19 lockdown and what a great restaurant to eat at. The sashimi and nigiri, along with the tempura has been the best I’ve had in London. They are participating in the government Eat-Out to Help-out during Aug 2020 so as an extra incentive makes it even more worthy of eating there. The staff are very accommodating, allowing space for our baby buggy and attentive. The sashimi is very fresh, well cut and presented. Highly recommend and I will go back.

Loved everything! From the service to the amazing sashimi platter, premium rolls and funny broth in the kettle. Amazing price/value. We paid 96 pounds for 2 people and had everything from the soup to the desert. Definitely coming back!

Wow - a little piece of Japan in Maida… I’ve passed this place so many times in the past 4 years and always wondered what it’s like. Having seen the reviews of this place on deliveroo and google and having a special date night … Yesterday we took the plunge and wow - did we have the most amazing experience. Greeted by a very charming front of house gentleman, then seated and served by Ollie who was very courteous, friendly and a joy to meet. That’s just the staff - all of them were very sweet - we sat out on the terrace in the front which was nice as the sun was shining and it was a lovely warm evening. I noted they had heaters outside if needed on those chilly nights. Then the food came - each dish visually beautiful served by a different person each time and the tastebuds - WOW - they enjoyed every single morsel of food we had. The dishes were stunning. Hopefully the pics do them justice. Check out the bill for what we had. Have to say the cost was very reasonable for two - we left feeling great and unable to eat anymore. My fave was the spicy pork ribs - the meat fell off the bone and then scooping up the sauce with the meat…. Heaven. the sauce was amazing to put your rice in also. Mia’s favourite was the agedashi Tofu and mushrooms dishes. We are definitely going back very soon - this will now be a regular place for our Japanese treat!! To top off a wonderful evening as we left around 7.15pm we noticed an art gallery had just opened next door so popped in and took in some art! Lovely evening. It’s Fridayyy yeah…. Highly recommended…
