Hi I just wanted to say we hired out M+H for a private party on 16th Feb and it was a pure delight! We were all arriving a different times and the wait staff were so accommodating and super smiley. The food was delicious, plentiful and they ran after us for aaaaages with some stuff we'd left under the table. Big recommendation!

Avocado toast you will crave. Incredible and well thought out food-nothing is boring here. Plus great coffee, awesome staff, and a really lovely environment made up of locals and regulars. A special place on the Roman curated by an owner and team who clearly care.

Great cafe with an amazing home feel and the best waffles and salmon! They also do a mean Bloody Mary. Great place to get some work done or chill out with some friends over some cocktails :)

A petite gem in London's bustling food scene, this restaurant is a culinary delight. The food is nothing short of amazing, with swift service that doesn't compromise on quality. Be prepared for a queue during peak hours, a testament to its popularity, particularly for Saturday/Sunday brunch. Their Turkish eggs are my personal favorite, but the allure of other dishes is undeniable. A must-visit spot for a delectable dining experience.

LOVE this place. Am visiting London for a week and have been here 3 times - once I had the scrambled eggs on toast and bacon on the side, chicken sarni and focaccia with chorizo to go; another time had the pancakes with apricots and mascarpone cream; and today I had the pancakes again and some Turkish eggs. Everything tasted amazing - only note, the mascarpone cream doesn't taste citrussy enough, bit too bland. Coffee is really good (but my Mom didn't like the decaf espresso she had...) LOVELY people working there. Prices are a bit high imo, as high as in Copenhagen, which is saying something...but if I lived here, I would still visit once a week ♡

Lovely little cafe on Roman road. There were tables available when I went at lunch on a Friday, though I've seen it a lot busier for weekend brunch. The menu seems like it's new every day. I got the granola with yoghurt which was really delicious. My friend got the sandwich which apparently was equally good. Coffee was again great. The interior is simple but nice and even though it was busy you could still hear each other talk. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Always have a fab time eating at Mae and Harvey and enjoy bringing friends there. Recently did a hire there for my birthday. Natasha, Lia and the whole team are so attentive, kind and made it the best evening ever. Really recommend hiring their place for intimate events.

Top quality ingredients, great coffee, and super lovely staff. But, at £18 for a cappuccino and salmon and scrambled eggs on toast, it's definitely more of a treat than a regular for me.

Mae + Harvey is always a great spot to grab brunch on the weekend, so if you come and have to queue you'll soon discover the reason why and it'll be more than worth it. What separates this cafe from many others are the quality ingredients used, with me eating one of the best English breakfasts of my life.

Lovely staff, food was great especially the pancakes with yoghurt cream, cherry compote and almond brittle and some mint leaves. Whoever created this knows how to balance flavours and textures.

Mae & Harvey is a local gem. Their food is amazing, and the staff are so friendly, plus they serve the best coffee on Roman Road! The pancakes are a family favorite, guaranteed to put a smile on everyone's face, the healthier breakfast granola with seasonal fruit compote is also a real winner. The chicken sandwich for lunch is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had, plus it is so packed with chicken, you could easily share one between 2.

Finally a good café to grab a delicious sarnie on the way to work or grab a brunch on the weekend. With my partner we go pretty much every Sunday brunch and loved every dish we had so far. I am a professional chef for over 20 years and it’s hard these days to find a good small cafe or restaurant that isn’t over priced serving badly prepared cheap food. I recommend Mae + Harvey, simple, well prepared, well presented good plates of food and the chicken sarnie is to die for.

The atmosphere and food were exceptional. The staff were also really friendly and answered our questions regarding the dishes. I would definitely be interested in going back to try more dishes.
