Friendly service, clean place and good food with the reasonable price.
Lovely pub, first time visit, busier than what Google times suggested, and was visiting this pub during the announcement of the Queen's death on the news. Eerie and ominous as Prince 🤴 Charles was named King whilst in the pub. Food yummy, drinks drinky.
This had to be the best local weatherspoons, it offers very cheap meals and drinks. Located on Southgate High Road, this has been the go to for the regulars over the years.
The all-day breakfast went down a treat, perfect proportions and very tasty.
Customer service is always a pleasure.

Service was spot on, food was great. There is a mixture of vibe with locals, families, usuals and history.
I enjoyed my very 1st traditional English breakfast at The New Crown (JD Wetherspoon). Harsh brown nice and crunchy, not oily, bacon is soooo yummy, not burnt, toast .. argh .. not the normal white but those big loaf, nicely toasted sausages, just rightly cooked, not shrivered .. you just have to po
Decent old skool Spoons, with good ales served well at a decent temperature. Friendly service and a nice crowd of locals. ÂŁ2.66 for guest ales, normally four or five on tap.
First visit to this Wetherspoon’s pub. Elgood’s Warrier was in top condition and despite the kitchen being closed for a refurbishment it was good to see the pub quite busy.
Great little pub. Looking for somewhere to eat with my daughter so we popped in here.
Decent vegetarian options and the lady behind the bar was very friendly and kind.
We went here for breakfast and ended up spending the whole day. Breakfast was nice with refillable coffee which I took full advantage of. If I had to sum up my visit in three words. It would be:- Cheap & Cheerful!
Prices have gone up and the portions got smaller . My fish was small ,the chips portion small. . Still like the spoons chain tho. It was packed .
Good place to be and nice fish and chips and coffee. Will definitely visit again.
