The Bloomsbury Tavern - London - Photo album

Very nice pub with tasty food and cold beer. Atmosphere itself very local. People are nice and friendly! Very good place to have a rest with cold beer and some food. Will come back next time.
Perfect post-British Museum stop. Seasonal ales, quick and a super friendly and dedicated young crew. Standard (and good) pub grub with fresh seasonal sides. I had the meat pie with an awesome red cabbage side! No crowds despite the vicinity of the British Museum. Prices are OK.
Quintessential London pub, great food and great pints. There clearly a reason Bloomsbury has such a storied history. Will definitely be back soon for delicious Haddock and Chips, or their great burger.
Decent pub food - the loaded fries were way more loaded then expected which was a pleasant surprise. Pimms cup was fine, beer pretty good. Best part is that it's barely 5 minutes from the British Museum so it's a good spot to rest after/before with decent food, service, and drinks
Enjoyed my visit to the Bloomsbury Tavern. It's well-positioned to stop by after a visit to the nearby British Museum. Spent a couple hours at the museum then visited the Tavern. Apparently the tavern is haunted by a ghost that causes disloyal men to piddle on their shoes when they're using the urin
Wonderful spot for a quick pint or filling meal. Food was surprisingly elevated for pub menu. And the staff was wonderful!
We enjoyed this place. Nice, quaint pub with a friendly staff. We were a bit cramped at our table but that seems pretty typical around here and it didn't hurt our time.
The pints are very reasonable but PLEASE bring back the affordable lunch options for us locals. The fish finger sandwich was great but it's now £10.50 which is just too much for a weekday lunch with a drink. Before it was £6 without chips which made it viable as a weekly treat with a pint.
Nice, traditional feeling pub very close to the museums. Good food and served quickly.
Great ale, delicious burger and lovely staff. In a handy location close to Tottenham Court Road and much better than a chain pub. Has real character and delicious cask ale on hand pump. Tourists very welcome too.
Fleeting visit, good selection of drinks. Very busy.
This little Shepherd Neame pub has always been a great place for a quick pitstop as it's excellently located at the top of Shaftesbury Avenue. With recent roadworks now completed, with part pedestrianisation, sitting outside at one of the four small tables, is more of a delight than ever. There is
Great old pub did not have food but looked good. the service was good at the bar
Great atmosphere and great food. Josh was extremely friendly and helpful with gluten free food ordering. Advised that gluten free burger buns were weren't advertised on the menu. The buns were the best gluten free burger buns I've ever had. They should be advertising them from the roof tops!
Great ‘local’ pub in central london. Staff who seem to care and provide a good service. Nice atmosphere.
