A little treasure on a rainy evening! The staff were friendly but not intrusive. The selections were just right for a small meal. The rice on one selection was cooked with sesame oil and crisped just a bit at the bottom of the bowl to add a nutty crunch. The broth was lovely and subtle. We were the only non-Asians in the place and I had the feeling we had stumbled upon a hidden gem.
My favorite Korean restaurant. I like their chapchae. The atmosphere is intimate and the service very polite and unintrusive. It is reasonably price and liked by Korean crowds.
I alternate between going here and Seoul Bakery. I don't have a favorite between the two, because there are pros and cons to both. Food is definitely served quicker here, though, so that's a bonus.
Not too wide of a selection when it comes to food, but I'm the kind of person who doesn't mind eating the same thing all the time so it doesn't matter to me as much. Slices of korean pancakes are huge and only cost a pound, so I usually get two. With that plus kimbap, I'm set. I think the bibimbap here is ever so slightly bigger than the portion over at SB, but I like to put a lot of gochujang on mine so I'm not really sure if there's a marked difference. Oops.
Still, you can't go wrong with this place. It's right next to the British Museum, so if you play your cards right you can visit the museum for free and then come here and spend less than a tenner for your lunch. Not a bad way to save money in this expensive city, I think.
Delish!. Great food, especially on a cold day! Friendly service as well.
This was a new experience for me, and one that I really enjoyed. The components of a bibimbab are all healthy. Mixed together with chilli sauce it’s super tasty. And it’s not overly filling either...
It's mainly a takeaway but there is a small seating section with a few tables and chairs. Or you could sit at the two tables outside.
Food is good. Ample quantity. Prices are pretty decent, especially considering the amazing location very near to the British Museum. Good value for money.
I tried their Bibimbap and liked it. It's definitely not the best Korean I ever had but it's good enough.
Staff members are friendly and helpful, we are enjoyed the food it’s was tasty highly recommend
Great little spot for lunch near the British Museum, fresh and authentic. Fairly priced and helpful staff fast to make it.
Yummy simple bibimbap (I got normal chciken) but £11 is hefty, it used to be for £5
Tasty food.
Lovely cafe, sit out on a sunny day and people watch.
Absolutely priceless.
Great location.
Friendly staff.
I went with my husband, he had the Beef Bibimbap with soup and I had the Tofu Bibimbap with soup. I'm a big fan of Korean Food and very often it is hard for me to find a place that knows how to do a proper Bibimbap. I loved the one this place does! The place is small, there's not much seating available, but the prices are fairly good and the food is great. I would definitely come back.
Ordered bibimbab via Uber Eats, the taste is not bad as the food delivery, it’s also a good choice for a healthy lunch because of vegs
The ingredients are generously used and the food is very tasty 👍👏👏👏
I work nearby and I was introduced to this Korean place by my colleague. I've been here several times already and tried various bibimbabs, kimchi stew, kimbab, and some spicy rice cake — I don't remember its name sorry. They were all very tasty, maybe a little spicy to my palate but still pleasantly hot. The portions were generous and very affordable in central London. Wish there were a Korean place like this in my neighbourhood too 🙏
Had the bibimbap today which was really good and I especially enjoyed the fried kimchi topping, a great alternative to the more typical tofu -- both great for vegetarians. The fried kimchi was saucy and when mixed with the gochujang (sweet & spicy red pepper sauce), elevated the bowl to another level!
The food was well-priced, fresh, delicious and authentic (I'm Korean btw!). Also the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!
The staffs are very friendly and sweet. I must say that I am happy to order the bibimbab because it is finally something healthy with more vegetables and protein with less deep fry and oily foods . Besides the price is acceptable.
Authentic Korean food in central London. Generous portions at affordable prices. I really loved their kimbap and spicy pork. The mixed veg is supposed to be a side dish but I used it to make my own bibimbap by simply adding rice. Also, can't miss the Korean fried chicken in sweet and spicy sauce! I also like their packing coz it's not plastic except the lids. Friendly staff are a plus. Will def visit again soon.
Best bibimbab in town, low price, super fast service, indoor seatings, not the best atmosphere but the food and speed and the fact that it's korean food made by korean = 5 stars
note that it's a small place with 4 indoor seating and 4 outdoor seating only, they do encourage takeaway
Amazing authentic Korean food, fast service and fairly priced!! Highly recommend. Right outside of The British Museum.
