I ordered delivery food from Daddy Donkey a week ago.
We ordered:
🥑 1x Guacamole & tortilla chips (£12.50)
🌯1x Naked Burrito (£4.00)
Total Cost =£21.98 (delivery included)
In regards to the tortilla chips, they were good, crunchy with a nice corn flavour. Definitely not the best I have tried here in London but still ok. The biggest disappointment was the guacamole: I believe the portion is too small for the price that was charged. In addition, the taste was also underwhelming: the guacamole was not chunky at all and it felt more like a paste making me think whether they use avocados or some avocado paste to start with.
The best of the meal was without a doubt the naked burrito. It was packed with flavour not only coming from the meat but also from the grilled peppers and the black beans. I would total recommend that item: the portion is also very generous!

If you like your burritos fat and tasty then this is a great place. Basic menu aside from burritos but still one of the best hunger killers I’m the city!
Not a better burrito around; delicious food, friendly staff that are always helpful and quality ingredients. Recommend the steak tacos. 10/10 would eat there again
Great food, love their burritos (these are probably the best burritos that I have had till now). Have stood in long queues to eat at this place, and would love to go back when I am in London ! Really hope they open up in Auckland, New Zealand as well :)

when I was going past, there was a kind of street market in the neighbourhood and hungry souls were rushing in the shop, made me wonder and want to try it. Had a look for kick-ass burrito but  I dont get on well with coriander, so settled for a custom offer they prepared without coriander but pepper, sour cream, black beans, and delicious tortillas.
if you are into the mixed flavours and colorful ingredients of mexican grills, stay away from the chains, trying to standardize the passion for mexican grill in their fix orders and combo menus. a quick lunch visit to Daddy Donkey will put a smile on your face
Daddy Donkey is a great place to get a quick lunch. Their burritos are really great and even though there is usually a long line to get your food, the service is quite quick, so the line actually moves quite fast.Â
Their ingredients are great and are quite fresh and they use delicious sauces so you don't need to get anything too complicated to be happy. Their standard Daddy D Burrito is great and I especially liked it with their chicken which is marinated for hours.Â
The only issue with Daddy Donkey is that if you have time and want to sit to eat there, there are only two tables and they are usually taken which means you can pretty much only get the food as take-away.
Ignore the queue that snakes it's way around the corner because service is quick. Portions are huge, the pork is so succulent and sauces are good too. You'll struggle to find a better burrito in London, just a shame they aren't open till later.
Another burrito place to add to the chart; Daddy Donkey's is arguably the best. The fact it's moved from a food van into a permanent, bricks and mortar home on Leather Lane is testament to that. Forget Chillango's belly pork burrito down the road, this is the real deal. Succulent, pulled shoulder carnitas with a real smokey barbecue flavour, and the black beans are quite sublime. A cracking feed, possibly better than Adobo and Poncho 8, Daddy Donkey's is an institution.
This is my go-to Mexican place for lunch as it is very close to work, the service is quick.. the food tastes good and all components that make a burrito (or the other dishes that they offer) are perfectly seasoned!! Its take-away and I remember them being a van on this lane before and then one day I see the corner shop has their name on it.. definitely doing good business and for a restaurant to be doing good business can mean only one thing - That the FOOD is great!
Its also very affordable and filling. I recommend you grab a burrito next time you are around! :)
Really the Daddy of all burrittos. Although the place is set up in a camper van but the food is delicious. Very famous with people working in the city.
Please ensure to take alist if ordering more than 1 burritto. Also the place does not serve more than 5 burritto per person during lunch peak hours.
Favourite Dish: Carnitas (Slow cooked pork burritto)

If you want to be the absolute best, you have to maintain your quality. I can confirm that after ten years they still smash it out the park. Generous portions, delicious sauce accompaniments and quality of ingredients. Typically I’d avoid the tortilla chips but these are different class. Handmade and salty fresh. It’s timeless, consistent and hearty. Best burrito in London IMO
A long time Leather Lane stalwart and still going strong.
£9.50 for a naked burrito without extras, which is ok given the current state of inflation.
A decent option, which can be enjoyed again and again and again.
Very tasty food especially the guacamole and the sauces.
The price is a little high compared to other Mexican places, so can't afford to go there all the time.
Would be nice to have a seating area but I don't mind taking away... its very yummy.
Definitely the best burrito in town. That's for sure. I've been coming back at least once a week for some time. Lovely guys. They put their hearts into it. Most of the time the line is quite long but they are superfast. Strongly recommend 🖤
My colleagues and I are ever so happy with the food, ingredients and dips from this restaurant. This is the 2nd time we have ordered from them and we are not disappointed. I would totally recommend this place to everyone. Their food is absolutely mouth watering and it came pipping hot, in an environmentally friendly way!

by far the tastiest burrito and baked burrito you can get in the area. always a massive que but they have a well organised machine of a team for speedy and quality service.

Fantastic Mexican grill on Leather Lane, their burritos are legendary! The staff is super friendly, and if you come by from time to time, they'll even remember your favourite dish/combo! My favourite burrito place in London!
If you are feeling hungry at lunch or dinner then this is the place to go. Burritos are huge so very good value for money and are yum! Can give you a food coma though!

Was pretty empty when I went, seating was available, food is normal stomach is full great for vegetarians and vegans.
Fantastic Burritos, best I've had in London by a long shot. Fresh, tasty and plentiful ingredients. The place is insanely busy for lunch, but I usually pick one up for dinner instead (luckily they're right round the corner). I suspect if I ate one of these for lunch I'd need to lie down for a good kip in the afternoon - they're enormous!

The reviews hyped it up and we were not disappointed! Absolutely delicious. Massive portions, variety. Just go!!! Lots of different salsas, tons of toppings included. Chips are so good. Will absolutely be back!
The best burrito in London. The chap serving was super friendly and helpful. We went for double meat and the thing was HUGE! Incredible value, super tasty and everything was A grade. This will be my new regular. A couple of seats outside in a sun trap. Loved it.
