Good selection of wine, good beer and food and great service.
Great Place Great Food Great Service Friendly Staff 10/10 :)
I've been there every few and then, they always keep the same quality. Really nice staff, very kind and polite. Awesome wines, trey have a big menu of wines, all of them are awesome.
Nice job!
Nice pub if too much of a 'chain' type of atmosphere, you know anywhere you go into a davy's, it will look exactly the same. Anyway, started with a nice lager and then went into the dinner room. It was quite a distance from the kitchens and we were feelig quite abandoned. The menu is short. With typical pub hot and cold sandwichch food. I went for British asparagus with quail eggs which was reasonably good, not as soft as one would have liked but ok. The bread was good but the butter was a surprise. Very nice, nutty and evocative. For the main meal I ordered a rib eye steak, medium. And they mucked it upwith somebody else's order qhichbwas medium rare. So sent it back. Not that impressed with the service then but the second time around the steak was good. All in all would givenit 5/10. Not that much value for money but the weather was very good and enjoyed myself with the beer so am feeling a bit mellow about them.
No matter how many people show up at its door Davy's always has a place to accommodate them. If everyplace else looks too crowded or too noisy, step into Davy's. The space is ample but I find their range of beers and ales on tap to be rather wanting. I usually settle for the Davy's 1870 lager. In food, I never had the opportunity to go beyond the pub grub and in that the sharing meat platter comes recommended.
Excellent local pub.
The food here is amazing, would recomend it for lunch. They also have an great range of wine. There are also seats outside by the docks. The staff here are amazing, in particular Sarah and Trisha they always make sure the customers are happy and provide an excellent service. We eat out daily in different places in Canary Wharf and the service here is one of the best in the whole area. Well done guys.
In my opunion, this is by far the best place for lunch in Canary Wharf. We go most weeks as the food is freshly made for each diner and consistently excellent quality. We have never had a bad experience. The service from Sarah and Tricia is exceptional. They both exceed our expecations, and we are very picky. However, all staff are great. Also, quieter vibe so feels relaxed. Good antidote to Canary Wharf living. Highly recommended!!!!
Quite trendy yet retains a very pub like atmosphere. Is generally popular with those working in the vicinity so expect a lot of people in suits especially on Thursdays and Fridays. Is quite large and is often used as a venue for leaving drinks. The staff are friendly and the bar food worth the money (location considered). An especially charming venue during the summer.
Cozy and elegant bar/restaurant. The view is amazing facing the docks, great ambiance and for after work drinks. I went for wine and only found 1 Malbec, a bit on the dry side, I would like to have more options.
The food was good but i have to give 5 stars because I was talking as i paid my bill and i accidentally typed in an extra zero on the PDQ machine and left a £20 tip on £15 meal!... a few minutes later, the female waitress came back to my table and said "we are sure you made a mistake so i have voided it so you can pay again". Amazing. Really impressed. I upped my tip from the intended £2 to £5
Always wanted to try one of the restaurants on the Cranary Wharf side of west India key so here we are at Davy’s. Old style restaurant with booths and tables though the booth chairs look a little uncomfortable but every where else is good. Reasonable selection of lager and bitters on offer with a good food menu of snacks, easy eats, sandwiches or the meals menu plus a specials board. We shared a club sandwich plus a steak Ciabatta sandwich with fry’s. Nice selection of deserts and coffees and mini deserts. Reasonable prices for the area and service. On the wharf so no immediate parking. Worth trying. Please like if this helped.
An important part of the Canary Wharf landscape, good for after work drinks or a Christmas party. Staff have always been helpful in organising larger events and although the food is fairly standard, it is better than a lot of what else is on offer elsewhere.
Nice bar and overall atmosphere. Quite busy after 5 with bankers
It's got Old Wallop on tap, which is always good for comic value, but is a great beer. The Davies at the Wharf seems more like an old pub that the rest of its kin. It's got nice tucked away areas so you can lose others if you want something a bit more tucked away.
A big fan of this chain especially the Old Wallop. Had Sausage and Mash on Friday which was delicious. The Cumberland sausages were cooked correctly and not deep fat fried as they are is some establishments.
Excellent business place with lots of little and bigger bars & restaurants and just making you feel like having one of the biggest malls ever in the 1. Floor under your feet. Loving this quarter. Must have seen place!
Such a great place for a drink or food. Reserved a space for a reunion and they were so accommodating and gave me peace of mind. Easy to book and god at communicating.
The office team had organised an event which included beers, wine and some food. Enjoyed the atmosphere after the event got over and had a few drinks too many. Nice and cosy place
Amazing time in this cozy gem. It's quiet compared to the bigger chain bars in Canary Wharf but the service is more personal here and staff are lovely.
Good beer nice atmosphere but can get really busy at the end of the working day...arrive early if you want a seat!
