The Fox and Hounds is a nice, traditional pub with a dark interior and lots of random framed posters. It offers a good range of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. It has a reasonable dinner menu and the food is very good - so much so that I'd call it a gastropub. Service is nice and friendly. Recommended. 😀 This is my second visit but for some reason Google has removed my previous review in 2022.

Really like this pub. Excellent service, very friendly and welcoming. Probably the best beer garden ive been to, so well kept and looked after. Nice and chilled. Food is fab here. We have only been during the day, but we really want to try an evening one weekend.

Smart street-corner pub about 10 minutes walk from Clapham Junction Station. Two cask beers on handpump when I visited. Lots of outdoor seating in the garden to the rear most of it covered. I was only visiting for a pint before a show at the Battersea Arts Centre but the pub offers an interesting Mediterranean influenced menu. Friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic local pub with a great selection of drinks and a bold, Mediterranean inspired menu that makes for a welcome change from the usual British pub classics. The VIBE is resoundingly warm & local, perhaps helped by a more traditional exterior that wards off snobs. The beer garden is a tranquil retreat and there are many nooks and crannies around the pub where you can post up for a private chat. The FOOD is great and the menu is well thought out. Light bites, hearty meals and sharing platters all feature as well as a nice ever-changing selection of cheeses. The SERVICE is great but perhaps a little slow, although I think that's all part of the charm. This isn't a pub that's churning out the vodka soda limes to a charged up crowd, it's a nice local haunt that wouldn't be out of place in the countryside.

The Fox and Hounds is a pub in Clapham Junction, London, that serves Mediterranean-inspired food and craft beers. It has a flower-filled beer garden and is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. The pub has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with exposed brick walls and a cozy fireplace. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently good. The menu features a variety of dishes, including pizzas, pasta, burgers, and salads. There is also a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. The beer selection is impressive, with a wide range of craft beers on tap. There is also a good selection of wines and spirits. Overall, The Fox and Hounds is a great place to go for a meal, a drink, or just to relax and enjoy the atmosphere

A popular neighborhood pub with superb service and a hearty yet well put together menu, reasonably priced with sensible portions. The wine list organised by country and region is a thoughtful one pager, designed not to overwhelm but to give a range of food pairings some choice. Clean, welcoming of pet dogs and humming nicely when I visited. The perfect gastro pub.

Excellent pub in Clapham, with fantastic food and a great selection of booze to choose from. However, the best thing about it for me is the garden - one of the best I've ever been to in London in terms of atmosphere. You might not immediately think so when visiting, but the size of it, combined with the lush planting and the nice evening lighting, makes it feel like you're on holiday during hot summer evenings.

Family meal, good food and great service. Nice old Victorian pub with a nice courtyard garden at the rear. Not much free parking around the pub on Mondays to Fridays, but plenty at the weekend.

3.75 out of 5. Good local feeling pub with better than average food. A little light on cask ale selections. Plenty of draft lagers. Bangers and mash were good and used a tasty Italian sausage. Beef ragu and pappardelle was tasty, more beef stew taste than tomato taste. Service is good, chatty bartenders and the atmosphere is brighter than traditional pubs. Beer garden out back.
