Went in on Saturday before the Arsenal v sheffield United game. Good atmosphere, had lovely pizzas freshly made. Easy walk to emirates after. Only issue was the ‘No cash’ rule. You cannot allow cash to die out, so please accept ‘cold hard cash’, us northerners still love it
The Lord Stanley 8.8/10
Last two days we were there twice. Is that a good indicator??
The sun gets in this place all the time. Kind of silly really. Is the earth flat? Would make more sense.
Always sunny in Kentish Town.
The Lord Stanley Baratheon rightful ruler of the seven kingdoms. Absolute g
I only come here for drinks which are normal pub prices. Big variety with many options for wine. The outside area doesn’t get too much sun and doesn’t have the best atmosphere but the staff are great and i’m still happy to be there !
Bustling local pub. Extensive food menu. And a base for The Free Association improv theatre and school upstairs, though their shows take place at the sister pub the De Beauvoir Arms in Haggerston. Cute little beer garden at the back.
Absolutely outstanding public house. The old Stan really blew my little tiny socks off. The perfect place to rest, rejuvenate, intoxicate, and celebrate. Ten out of ten would reccomend. Keep an eye out for this curly don they know as Luca, mind. Keep the other eye out for the curly lady they know as
Great pizza and great beer. Service is great and seems to host some locals (always a good thing. Definetly coming back next time we are here.
Our (beef) Sunday roast experience here was very good, a pleasant surprise : fresh vegetables, tasty beef, you can see the staff preparing the dishes, they store lots of products in plain sight, so you can assume most of the dishes are homemade based... An old cat is wandering across the place, is s
Lovely little pub with a brilliant atmosphere. Cosy, warm and with tasty food to boot. Reasonable prices and a huge selection of tasty ales and lagers.
Plus - there's a cat! Unfortunately not pictured since he was too quick for me..
Great pizza, great pint, great cat, great pub 😁 who could ask for m
Lovely locals' pub with a good mix of clientele. Decent pint of Guinness, tasty food and a nice garden as well as benches on the road to watch the world go by
Lovely but went at a very quiet time of day and there was a horrible smell inside at that time. Likely just wrong time though.
Haven't tried to food yet but definitely will be. Very expensive pint but I guess that's the new norm! (Almost 7 quid)
Nice veggie Sunday lunch in this great local find. Could have a few more craft brews or pulled pints. Would prefer mushrooms inside the stuffed pepper. Staff were friendly. Would happily come back.
Great pizza and friendly staff but I came to see the piano man and unfortunately he wasn't here. Please bring back the piano man!
Highly recommend the lamb pizza. Service takes around 20 minutes but the staff are friendly.
Good choice of drinks, food (prepared to order). Excellent spiced tomato mix for Bloody Mary etc.
A range of roasts on Sundays, and a broad variety of on premises made pizzas.
Noisy inside when full. Quietish outdoor spaces on the road sides.
Good pub, great prices. Surprised at the wine by the glass prices, £5.10, great price! Main food menu looked really tasty, good produce and interesting dishes. I got a pizza and the dough on pizza was a bit basic and stodgy. Good quality ingredients otherwise though, tasty mushrooms and cheese.
Been coming to this pub for years. The staff are so friendly and actually look like they’re having a good time which I love. Food is awesome, quite a Mediterranean feel but they also do amazing pizzas (try the Turkish!) Highly recommend this pub to anyone in the Camden area!
