Homely vibes with good karma in the toilets too! I particularly enjoyed who gives a cap toilet paper and the vegan hand wash in their loos, not to mention their amazing aromatherapy candle burning, such details often go unnoticed, but to me they tell such a story about the people who are running the place! Last but not least their toilets have such amazing acoustic so, if you enjoy drunk singing like myself, you're in for a treat! Highly recommended, will definitely be coming back!

Proper rough diamond in Finsbury Park. Amazing wines, fantastic service by hilariously and friendly staff and one of the nicest cheese and meat boards I’ve had in ages! Enjoy it now before the building work in Finsbury Park is complete because you won’t get a seat then.

My "wine club" had its inaugural meeting at OakN4 on a cold, rainy Tuesday and it was perfect. They tailored a guided tasting to suit our needs and allowed us to choose exactly how many wines we wanted to try, red or white, the length of time and if we wanted nibbles. This also helped us stick to our budget of 20 pounds each. The wine was DELICIOUS, platter of nibbles VERY GENEROUS and our guide was knowledgable and provided a lot of interesting information. OakN4 was also adaptable when our group numbers changed at the last minute. Would highly recommend this place, we had a great time. All of the bottles and glasses are very reasonably priced too. Something for everyone!!

My favourite wine place in London is just a couple of roads away from my flat. I'm very lucky <3

Really nice wine bar with a relaxed atmosphere, like a pub for wine people. A good selection of wines at different price levels. Very friendly service.

Finsbury station firstly in general is much more updated and has a better vibe all around, and Oak N4 is tucked in and around the newly developed area. There's such a nice vibe here, The staff is friendly and knowledgeable which in a wine bar is always lovely. It's a stone's throw away from Finsbury Park station, which has good connections in and out of the city. Ideal for a gathering with friends or even a date it would be lovely too! Solid A***** LDT x

Oak is a fantastic wine bar... been going here for years and the service, atmosphere and wine selections are great. Charcuterie boards are generous and lovely and the prices are really good to boot. Although all the staff are amazing a special mention goes out to Ed, whose wine knowledge, enthusiasm and good humour only adds to the countless reasons we keep on visiting oak!

Large selection of wines. I always come here as the vibe, staff and wines are a really nice experience. Please order a platter of cheeses. One of the best I ever had in London. Tables outside available.

I'm love with this wine bar right outside Finsbury park station and I'm now a regular. I am from Italy and i finally found a local place for my aperitivo where I feel like home. Huge selections of wines, I strongly recommend to try the meat and cheese board as it's a great value for the price and the quality of the cheese and cured meat is outstanding. Nice atmosphere and friendly service.

My partner and I both love this place. The staff are welcoming and very knowledgeable. If you don't know what sort of wine you like, they will always find a great match for your palette. Friendly vibe with staff and patrons alike. We've made many new friends over wine and cheese in this lovely place

Definitely recommend this place - lovely helpful staff and fantastic value for money cheese and meat platters. Great quality food and wide & interesting wine selection. Warm & relaxing atmosphere with interesting original art on the walls, cracking soundtrack (not too loud) and comfy stools (which I normally hate). Go!!

Cannot wait to return when i'm not doing dry january! Excellent selection of wines, and the large cheeseboard (only £15 and PLENTY for 3) defied our expectations of the usual modest portions to be found. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Couldn't recommend more.

If you want to try an interesting wine from specialist small suppliers, head for Oak N4. They stock a wide selection of wines which you are very unlikely to find in the supermarket. You can buy many wines by the glass (at least 30) or by the bottle to drink with friends inside Oak N4. The interiors are beautiful, everything has been made from recycled materials. If you are in a hurry you can pick up a bottle of wine to take home. The staff are very helpful and have heaps of knowledge. This wine bar is at the back of Finsbury Park station.

One of the nicest independent wine bars around - where else would you be recommended a Japanese white wine of the day, and then wonder why on earth you’ve never tried Japanese wine before?!

We have just moved to the area, and i stumbled across this bar when looking for “non-pub” options, and it’s amazing. I have since been back for a wine tasting, and it’s literally one of my favourite places. Staff are fab, and really know their stuff, and the range and prices of wine/bubbly to go and to drink in is such good value that I bought 3 bottles post wine tasting for lockdown 2.0. Would 100% recommend to everyone, and can’t wait for them to reopen to do it again! 🤩👏🏻

As a wine philistine, I was unsure how to navigate their impeccable menu. However, the experts at OAK N4 were very helpful and not condescending even when faced with my extremely basic questions. Amazing wines!

This place is awesome! Great selection of wine and the food is bloody great too! The team were super helpful on recommendations! All the wines we had were amazing but the Barolo was too! Had an amazing savory character to it. The place is right next to Finsbury station so easy to get to and from. Do it!!!
