Camden Coffee Shop - London - Photo album

This place is a hidden gem! I’ve been walking passed it for months now on the way to ballet and I decided to stop by today. Continental blend is £9 for 500g! Mountain Blend is £13.50 for 500g. I just made a cuppa with my moka and it’s amazing! I can’t drink any other grocer/ Amazon bought ground cof
George is such a lovely gentleman, he knows coffee inside and out, ans roast package all by himself. The shop is like a museum, definately worth a visit even you are not a coffee person. If you love coffee, then more reason to come and buy some freshly roasted beans from him.
My go to place to get my coffee beans. Have been going for a few years now and the quality never disappoints. I agree with one of the other contributors that its hit and miss to get there when George is open. But he is a Camden gem, so cut him a bit of slack for his age. Its like a museum for coffee
Good quality Freshly roasted coffee beans for a very reasonable price for London. I've now been here twice, about 5 years between each visit. After 5 years (thereabouts) I can't believe George is still there, he's still roasting the cheapest coffee in London. Choice isn't what it was, but kudos to h
Amazing authentic shop for buying coffee. Freshly roasted and grounded! The owner is also super friendly and helpful!!!! One little gem in the hearth of london! 💕 😊
Excellent old style coffee roasters. Very traditional and good for tourists and locals alike. They don't serve prepared coffee if that's you're after. It's a roaster that sells whole and ground coffee beans. Roasting is done manually using traditional kits. There's a limited choice of coffee beans
Great hole in the wall coffee shop, beans are roasted fresh on site and in small batches. 10/10 recommended! Don't forgot to take cash - no cards accepted.
Best place to buy coffee in London. Fresh, roasted beans or ground specifically for you on premises throughout the day, great selection... I recommend Mountain Blend and Kenya AA. There's also a very posh Swiss Water Process decaf for all you amateurs / methadone users
Whoops! Accidentally "liked" Javad's comments. Of course he's completely wrong - Camden Coffee Shop is a gem, and in Japan or China George would be a "living national treasure"! His Santos Dark and his Mocha blend are both delicious. The aroma that fills the street when he's roasting, on his machine
A no-nonsense kiosk-sized very 'old school' bean shop with an irresistible aroma wafting down the road. A Camden landmark; same bloke, same stock, same quality, same good price. Dependably the same.
Everything about this small coffee shop is simply wow and magical. I remember my first experience 6 years ago was mesmerising. The best freshly roasted coffee beans in London. And George, the owner, is just amazing, he’s had this store for over 40 years. The roasting of coffee beans goes in small ba
This is the best, most freshest coffee available in London and quite possibly England. Since George had to close, I’ve been ordering ground coffee from a variety of online suppliers that have been recommended to me. Not one has come close. I have settled on a company but this is not as good as Georg
Get in the queue and admire the magnificent machinery, inhale the roasting coffee and enjoy experiencing an expert at work. All the coffee is superb, but I keep going for the magic Mountain Blend.
A truly gem of a place. You get knowledgeable helpful advice from the expert. Astonishing quality at really affordable prices. A must for people who love real quality coffee
Definitely the best coffee in London without question in my eyes. I have been buying coffee from this shop for more than 50 years, when Georges uncle ran the business. Not many places roast their own beans on a daily basis as well as George does. I have moved to Hampshire but will still visit Camden
My daughter asked me to take her to Camden Market and I thought, I haven't been to the Camden Coffee Shop for over 6 years so I'd go there and see if Mr George was still roasting coffe. Surprise surprise! Not only was the Shop still open but Mr George was there in good health and roasting away. I as
The best place to get freshly roasted coffee beans in London, when you take quality and value into consideration! Have been coming here for years to get coffee for our household. Our favorites are Colombian and Blue Mountain, would definitely recommend!
Used to think Monmouth Coffee was the best in London until I found this place. You can literally watch George roasting the coffee beans and he’s really a master of his craft. Good choice of beans and very reasonable prices. He’ll grind the beans for you too if you like and tells you how to store you
