I just lost in London and I felt hungry. … and I saw this place. Simple with nice warm welcome and I think affordable for everybody. I thought “Italian”… hmmmm, it cannot go wrong 🤔. … and it have not. I did not want to give the sauce for the dishwasher 😉 … so I was asking bread. … and I am sure you also want to take everything what you paid for, tooo … just take a look in my first picture. I did something like that ages ago🤣

Big portion of food. You can choose two flavours of pasta in one plate.

I love their pasta, it's the ideal place for lunch (sit on or take away). My favourite is spaghetti carbonara and peperoni pasta. They do half and half so I can have both my favourite pastas for lunch. I usually come here with my colleagues and we sit downstairs as it is quieter there.

Fantastic food, easy and quick to get served. Quite busy at lunch times so plan in advance if you can, it is popular! You can have a mix of pastas etc if you request it too

Super friendly staff, good food - sandwiches and hot food, I would say Italy-inspired but tasty. I seems to be popular with locally working people. It looks a bit like a chip-shop but if you don't want to sit and have meal in, there is a take-away option. When I worked in the area, I was regular there to enjoy good food and friendly people.

Really good as a sandwich shop, great hot sandwiches in the morning with quality ingredients and not at all greasy, sometimes pop in for pasta to take away for lunch or to get a sandwich or jacket potato. Lots of choice. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and never too much of a wait even during busy times.

Excellent bolognaise pasta and price! A hidden gem as I was passing by for an interview nearby and decided to do a takeaway. highly recommended

Pastas are naughty and delicious. You get filled up on the cheap. But the salad bar, while it has a lot of variety, doesn't taste super fresh.

Incredible traditional Italian food, in particular the range of bespoke sandwiches offered is impressive, with some of the most friendly staff I've ever met in a busy lunchtime restaurant. I only wish I could go back more often!

Other reviews are a bit old, I've been going here for a few weeks since my work moved and they are now my goto place for a tasty breakfast sandwich. Its not the healthiest but i get a decent sized chicken bacon avocado ciabatta with melted cheese for 4.20 its tasy and i can't complain!

The best lunch going in Aldgate! I really like a bit of hot lunch and love even more the hot italian pasta they serve. The price is at the high end for lunch - £6 but pound for pound you are really getting good value and quality. Italian run local business selling proper italian pasta and sandwiches - really recommend. Also take Amex which is a plus.
