Great Asian food is made and served freshly at this restaurant. The prices are reasonable, the service is prompt and punctual and the hygiene is optimal always too.

My favourite chinese...no luxury... but over the years I have been to this restaurant just for my favourite dish... the cashew chicken with egg rice...yummy..lightly flavoured. The other chicken noodles that we have tried was very nice...definitely recommend.
absolutely fantastic food when ordered from menu. avoid the buffet and all will be well with the world. don't believe the miserable trolls who have negatively critiqued this place. of course there are better, but there are far worse too...so get down there and get some noodles down you...
Me and my friend went here for the lunch earlier today and we had a pleasant experience. We ordered two mixed noodles one with hot and dry and the other one with bit of oyster sauce. We also ordered pork ribs and chicken wings as for the starters. Surprisingly we got mains first and then the starters. However, the food was very good (but not the best Chinese that I have tasted in King's Cross London) and reasonably priced as well. The portions were quite filling and made both of us really happy. A small Chinese outlet which lets you eat to your hearts content. The food isn't great but what do you expect at kings Cross for around £5! The taste is quite up to the mark and for a quick cheap Chinese food to fill your tummy, this is the go to place.
Went here when I just arrived in London, located just across Kings X station. Tasted quite good, big portion, quite cheap for city of London ;)
A great place to dine, especially if you like chinese food. the portions are good and the food is very tasty. I just love the sweet and sour pork and fried rice, it's a great place to dine if you cannot go to chinatown as we only get so much time for lunch.
If you are fond of Chinese cuisine and in Kings Cross, London, then you must visit this Chinese eatery. Whenever I visit London, I make sure to drop into this place. It is a clean and small place with very friendly staffs. The quantity of food is sufficient, the quality and taste of the food is very good. Generally I order Fried Noodle with chicken, Rice with Sweet & Sour Pork, Special Fried Rice. The prices are fair.
Another day we dropped here again. We had Egg Fried Rice with Chicken & King Prawn Swezchuan Sauce which was excellant.
Being a tourist in London and staying at the Euston road we were roaming on a clod windy night when we stumbled upon this restraunt. Its a nice place run by chinese people surprisingly the food here is indo chinese style so we quite enjoyed the cashew nut chicken and chilli chicken . Both dishes were served with rice. The portion is good. Hot chinese food on a rainy cold night.. Is always a good idea.
Great place to go to if you're looking for a quick and cheap meal. Went in spontaneously and got served very quickly. Prices are very reasonable although portions aren't the most generous. Would go again but not the sort of place to go with a large group as it's very small in size. Other than that great location right opposite King's Cross station👍
You do get big portions of the food here and the food is cheap too but obviously it does not take any rocket science to deduct that these guys lacks in quality.
The juice that they will offer you is healthy but again sometimes I doubt .
Carrot juice is my personal favorite here.
I would recommend this place if any one wants a quick bite and they do not want to pay more for it :)
This place is a nice noodle bar. The food is good and the service is also quick. Moreover, the food is reasonably priced. The place is good value for money with generous portions. If you want to have good Chinese food, noodles, seafood and soups, this is the place to go.
I go here pretty often and come away satisfied each time. This place does a take away too. It is good tasting food, that is easy and cheap on the pocket. They serve rather large portions too, making it an enjoyable experience. It has a unique concept of DIY order. The downside is their queues can be very long!!
This is a perfect place if you are looking for cheap Asian food .
I had the sweet and sour chicken with noodles which was less than four pounds and lasted me for lunch and dinner.
The only problem is that this place is bit crowded and that is because the tables are very close to each other , which lacks privacy.
They have a order placing concept, go in, and fill in a tick box on a piece of paper having a list of ingredients one wants to avoid. Quick and prompt service , the food arrives within five minutes of ordering. Another plus is astoundingly cheap rates. It is low priced, fast service and guaranteed filling option! Food wont disappoint and will make you come back!
I will definitely come back to dine in again here. I came across this place while searching for a tasty treat which was not exclusively fancy. And let me tell you, i was pretty happy with my food. The taste was fantastic and the portion size pretty huge! The value for money is amazing with the charges being not too steep.
The menu seemed to be including a variety of dishes including Asian specialties.
The interiors are pretty cramped but that is not that bothering. The food is made to the customer's liking, and are delicious.
Do try the Singapore Laksa.
I decided to have some Chinese food and visited this place recently. I had to wait a little when I reached there but the staff quickly found me a table. I ordered spring rolls, steamed dumpings, beef in black bean sauce along with a flat noodles, and fried seafood rice in white sauce. The roll was good and not too greasy, beef was an absolute delight whereas the rice wasn't fried properly and it was just seafood in white sauce. I also had barbecued pork with flat noodles and I must say that the sauce was a little too sweet for anyone's taste present there with me at the table. Overall, it was a very nice experience and the prices were also fairly reasonable. I will be returning to this restaurant again.
This place is perfect for a stop if you're passing through King's Cross. It's reasonable and very quick. The portions are bigger if you eat in rather than if you take-out, and therefore it is recommended to sit in and eat. Don't expect it to be exceptionally great though. It is fast and quick Chinese food.
The food here is really economical and the environment is conducive to a family dinner. One would definitely not leave this place hungry. The service is very quick and the food is delicious and unpretentious. The quality is not the best, but the food tastes nice and it is really good value for money.
We have been frequenting this place regularly for about seven years now, and love the quality and prices of food. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice, and my friend ordered the chicken cashew with EFG and a can of coke. Our order was served promptly, less than three minutes later. The portions are enormous, and the prices very less. I have always enjoyed coming here, and suggest that you should try it once.
They provide you with huge portions , the quality of the food is not great and that is the only reason that this place is cheap.
Food is good though , once in a while eating this type of Chinese food was okay.
Service is very fast and I like it.
They might not provide you authentic Asian food but they do provide you with good one.

The restaurant which is more of a cafe. To begin with drinks, they are clean, refreshing, well prepared and perfect. Coming to food, the portion sizes are substantial and enough, and good balance in servings than many of the restaurants around here we visited. Soup bowls are BIG and filling, our kids loved it. Surely coming back!
This place offers great Asian cuisine remarkable prices. I had an enjoyable experience here and was not at all disappointed. The food quality is great, just as good as any other Asian restaurant, with prices which are strikingly low than that of its competitors. You will enjoy a satisfying meal here without it burning a hole in your pocket. I would totally recommend this place.
This place houses and serves some great Asian food. On the outside it looks a bit unappealing, however they serve some delicious food. The portions are rather big as well. The service was quick too with very attentive and friendly staff. If one is around Kings cross, this place is a must visit. It is good value for money too.
This place is a life saviour. As an exchange student in the city, I was often short on cash and did not eat out often. But this place has the most reasonable prices for the best and most delicious food. Back home, I often find myself missing this restaurant. I definitely recommend everybody to try it at least once.
According to the people who were there , this was the best place and at the end of the day I was also thinking the same. The place smelt great . Their menu had many options to choose from. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant .They always had this smile on their faces whenever I looked at them. The waiters were very friendly and helpful.

I stopped here before boarding a train and was glad that I did so. While the staff was not all sweet and friendly and also got my order wrong, I was pretty satisfied with the food that I got. The roast duck was yummy and certainly way better than a sandwich that I otherwise would've had on my train journey.
This may not be a destination dining but the most practical choice for Chinese food for travellers who have a few minutes to leave the train station. A credit card is accepted if you spend over 5GBP. Reading the menu, I was a little confused, as I was hoping for a Cantonese style rice dish, i.e. a plate of rice with a little meat (maybe barbecue) and vegetables. Though the menu had fried rice dishes mostly.
I was in the mood for something different when I decided to check out Chop Chop so I ordered the duck and pineapple fried rice (duck is not a usual menu item for me). I was very pleased with it. Although I should mention that it is rather sweet, so for those who don't like that palette for lunch/dinner then I would avoid it. But in general Chop Chop is wonderful on any day of the week because they don't seem to be too busy. The food is great and affordable.
Sitting in Chop Chop is always a slightly disorienting experience. It took me a while to work out why, but I think it's a combination of the bright lights, mirrors covering the walls and the fact that everyone's voice seems to echo about the room like a bat out of hell. When you order you have to fill out a little form with a pen which is then whisked away and transformed into food, so personal service is at a minimum. The noodle based food is filling and delicious however, apart from the duck, which is full of bones and almost impossible to eat without being a fully trained surgeon. Also, don't buy the vegetable soup, get the wonton soup instead. Trust me.
I was starving so I just wanted good, reasonably priced and filling food. I ordered the mixed vegetable fried rice, spring rolls and tea. Having just finished my meal, I feel very satisfied, full and happy.

I have been coming to Chop Chop since 2015 at multiple locations. You simply cannot beat the prices for the amount of food and relative flavour and quality. Food comes quick, within 10 mins. It's no-frills, in-and-out. Also it's mostly East Asian staff, so some waiters are more jovial while others speak little and are more straight-to-the-point (for me having grown up in China this does not bother me at all, after all it's an Asian restaurant). Some dishes really taste like you're back in Asia - particularly the laksa, which is the best I've had in London, Kway teow nice too - and there is something there to suit every taste, rice, noodle, chips, curry, meat, veggie, Malaysian, Indonesian, Chinese.
Twice before the shrimp I have had has been off, and sometimes the flavour has been lacking. But this has been rare in the years I've come to eat here.
Basic service but very quick and decent Chinese food. I love taking food away from here and having it in Eurostar. Much better value for money than anything that’s available at station or in Eurostar

Very friendly, the owner are malaysian / Chinese, wery friendly, the Belachen Kgngkong are amazing!!! A little bit spicy and shrimpy. Delicious! For noodles, Mix vegetables and seafood are recommended. I like it.

Great place to grab some food. Cheap and cheerful, so don’t expect great service (but the service was actually all right.) But the chicken in the chicken dish I had the first time was really tough that I could not finish it, but veggie options are tasty. Better value than McDonalds. Card not accepted so make sure you come in prepared with enough cash. But at £6.20 for a really huge portion, you can’t go wrong. Would stop by again.
The price was reasonable and the food was delicious. I ordered a mixed meat udon noodle dish and it was ready and on my table in less than 5 minutes. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. Not much else to say - it’s an honest, fast Chinese food spot. I may eat here again before I head out of London.
Came here today for the first time and the food was delicious 😋 will definitely be coming back like tomorrow! Portions are a good size, prices are very reasonable for London and premises are clean. Environment feels very relaxing as soon as one walks in but then I guess that will be dictated to by the time and amount of customers present. Very happy 😃

Great service if your in a rush but more importantly the food is great. The only criticism I would have is that the plates are cold, I've been twice and the first time it made a difference but last time the food was so hot it didn't. However it tasted authentic with great flavours. I rate it 4.5 stars as the menu isn't massive.
