Cubicles are great for a cosy chat for families with kids and friends. Prices are alright and the food is delicious....All the meats were cooked to perfection tender yet no blood, just the way I like it....Always always always one of my favourite places to eat......5*

First time I been there, was meaning to go there but never got the chance too but I'm glad I finally made it. I absolutely loved the platter for 2, I'm definitely going back to this place no matter what. Do recommend everyone to go.

I honestly love turkish food and this is by far one of the best ones! The seating is downstairs from a mosque and they have these private small rooms where you can sit on the floor and eat. Traditional atmosphere and lush food! 👌🏽

I went here about a week ago with family. We usually sit in the small 'caves' aka private floor seating rooms but they were all booked so we sat in the normal bit. Wevordered 2 types of starters - börek (cheese pastry) & lahmaçun (turkish flatbread 'pizza' with spicy ground lamb or beef). Yummy!
For mains we kofte, iskender & a chicken hot pot thing which I think was called tavuk güveç or sote. The chicken iskender was DELICIOUS. Oh my, small boneless bite sive lively marinated pieces of chicken with yogurt tomato sauce n bread. I also has a juice. The guvec/sote wasn't all that my mum said. The portions were HUGE. I ate half if mine and asked for a takeaway. Mum only ate half of hers too. Tip for next time: Order 3 meals for 4 of people. Unless you're a sumo wrestler or have a bottomless pit.
The toilets were modern and spotless - a bonus.
2 starters, 4 drinks & 4 mains for just under £60. Would have been nice to be offered mint tea or something at the end but we was full. Try this out guys. And go for a private 'cave' for extra authenticity.

Beautiful place to take family. Food: Tasted like authentic Turkish food, loved the salad and bread that accompanied with condiments. Service: Very good customer service the men was polite and helpful explains what the dishes were. Atmosphere: felt like was back in Istanbul the entire building and passage to the ladies and men’s entrance to the prayer hall.

One of the best Turkish restaurants I’ve ever been in London, all food are halal, very nice decor and cosy restaurants. It has a beautiful layout, with both normal table seating and floor sitting layout in private booths which is well worth it. Plus do visit the mosque upstairs. It's so beautiful and peaceful . We loved it and would definitely come again.

I was very impressed coming to this restaurant. It has a beautiful layout, with both normal table seating and floor sitting layout in private booths which is well worth it. The good as expected from the Turks are of good quality and taste fantastic. We loved it and would definitely come again. Plus do visit the mosque upstairs. It's so beautiful and peaceful 💕 Sounds cheeky but I miss the complementary free tea I would normal get in Turkey. That would be a great bonus. But if I remembered I would have bought a tea to end the meal.

Ordered the mixed platter and a number of starters. Everything was really nice and enjoyable, lovely atmosphere. Service was great, as it was our first time going so all the staff looked after us. Only minor comment is the sauces they only provide a small amount. Overall, great food and enjoyed the overall experience, would I go back? Yes, though only for special occasions as it is quite pricey.

Very nice venue with quiet and well lit seating. Great food and very friendly service. Downstairs seating is great if you want privacy and also has the traditional floor seating. Adana kebabs are super juicy. Girl player includes lamb chops lamb cubes chicken tikka and wings as well as Adana kebab and rice/lintel. Turkish tea gives same flavour as genuine Istanbul tea. Deserts were heavenly.

Went here for dinner with friends . Building is very beautiful not like your typical Turkish in London. The food was good like your normal Turkish food. Service was good but could have been a bit better for example we had to remind the waiters a few times about our requests etc , experience was enhanced by the beautiful azizye mosque next door, which was very convenient.

One of the best, if not the best, Turkish restaurants in hackney. Hands down food is amazing! I have been coming here for years now for the lunch time menu, every time the food is great. Reasonably priced for what you get, portions is very good. Also, quick mention to Selcuk, he is an amazing waiter, always helpful and has a smile on his face. Will continue to visit here for years to come.

Very easy to call and make a booking and generally the customer service is good. One of the few places in London that offer a traditional Turkish private dining experience, this is one of the reasons my family and I really enjoy coming here. The booths are kept clean and it's really nice to sit on the floor and enjoy a slightly more intimate setting than a usual restaurant, I'd urge others to try this for themselves. Food is always brilliant and gets served surprisingly quickly. Only complaint would be that sometimes the pizza/bread oven closes rather early. Also prices have gone up slightly recently but this isn't too uncommon to see.

Good tasty food, and the waitor who served and took care of us (Selcük) was very kind and hospitable. The food was decent however nothing special. Only reason why it was not 5 stars is that it was quite expensive compared to other Turkish restaurants I’ve been to and they charge an extra 10% on top of your order to sit on the floor.

Food was tasty but slightly over priced given the portion sizes. Waiter was a bit rude when I changed my mind and asked to change seats from the table to the private cubicle. One positive was the ease of praying in the mosque upstairs after the meal. Would consider a takeaway next time I stop over to pray.

Have been coming here for 20 years and every aspect - food, service, atmosphere - has been excellent. There are a lot of Turkish restaurants but this one is a cut above the rest. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Plus some bonuses - they have the option of traditional floor seating in private rooms excellent for families and they have a beautiful masjid on site.

Amazing food with excellent customer service. One of the best restaurants that have a masjid within the building. You have the option to dine on chairs and tables or floor seating. We had booked a booth for floor seating and the experience was very good. We were served with bread on the house along with cold water which was very refreshing. The food was served at the right temperature and tasted very good 👍. I would definitely recommend to family and friends as the experience, service, food is affordable and overall excellent.

My family and I visit this restaurant at least twice a month. Quality and consistency is unmatched, each visit is better than the last. A special mention, to Brother Selcuk for always going above and beyond in making sure we are comfortable and satisfied. My favourite restaurant to eat at by far.

This Turkish restaurant’s food is always nice (not spicy so perfect for children) and the service is good. Table seating and private rooms with traditional cushioned floor seating.

Amazing place. Third visit here and the food was just as good as the previous occasions. If you’re going with family or a group best to reserve a cubicle, you get the privacy and you get to relax in your own little space. The mixed platter was fantastic and I’ve ordered the Lamb beyti (kebab encased in pasta like roll) each time. The complementary bread is nice and warm and the Turkish tea, also complementary, is a great end to a meal. Only slight issue we had was that there was a large gathering which were quite loud, but you can have that anywhere.

Great eating experience with optional privacy lounge type area at floor level. Food quality is at a very high level. Those who have visited Turkey and enjoyed the food there will enjoy eating here. Service was very good

Aziziye restaurant in my opinion is the best Turkish restaurant for families. They have chair seating or floor seating options. Private booth or open area for seating. It's best to book ahead especially for the private booths. The food was excellent. We ordered lahmacun, sujuk izgara, kiyamali pide, lamb doner and guvec. With the mains we got rice and salad. The salad was very refreshing. Guvec; the meat was melting in the mouth. That was my favourite dish. The service was superb. It was fast. We had turkish tea at the end on the house. Bread slices and sauces come as a bonus. We were even given dates with the tea. I highly recommend this restaurant.
