Decent place, couldn’t fault it. Vegetarian breakfast was a little lacklustre but otherwise was nice. Coffee was nice and service was great. Prices were standard to that of a brunch spot; about £8 a plate.
Nice little café, good food (recommend the big breakfast, but the Eggs Benedict are also great).
The peppermint leaves in the water carafe are a nice touch. Good coffee. -Currently cash only
Super place, friendly staff and delicious food. Staff were very happy to make changes always there to help. Go visit and enjoy.
We came for brunch the morning after the night before: the coffee is great, and the food is spot on (they nailed the poached eggs). The staff are friendly and they brought a bowl of water for the dog without being asked which was a lovely touch.
Good job!
A real surprise. Went there randomly with some friends and decided to get food. Staff incredibly friendly and relaxed. We got some ricotta and spinach balls, sea bass and the French soup. Food was cooked very well, it was very tasty but not heavy or overly loaded with sauces. The dessert was again g
What a cute place with great food and lovely prices. Sides were a bit overpriced, please put a bit more effort /ingredients in the salad etc. They take reservations and are now open 7 days a week! On a Saturday night all tables were occupied, but no people waiting at the door. At 11 pm the coffee ma
Quite a standard brunch menu that you’d find in many of Hackney’s brunch spots. But that doesn’t mean they didn’t deliver! The sourdough was perfect and the avocado so creamy and smashed to perfection. They do a great coffee to perk you up too!
Very good coffee and nice breakfasts. A good option for a Saturday as it’s close to, but also just far enough away from the bustle of Broadway market. I had perfectly poached eggs on sourdough with smoked salmon and avocado. Yum
Fantastic food! What a find, and very reasonable prices for London. Loved it.
Unassuming industrial decor yet somehow comforting escape from the dreary winter rain. Full breakfast is possibly one of the best I've had, tasty black pudding, lovely sourdough toast, near perfect poached eggs, crispy bacon, spicy sausage and wonderfully flavoursome handmade baked beans. The little
Would strongly recommend this place for breakfast but be warned very popular for a good reason and you may have to wait for a table for short while - though it's worth the wait. Good friendly service which is matched by excellent coffee and a good menu. Would vouch for the Bircher muesli or the ful
I visit at least once a month and they always hit the nail on the head. Lovely atmosphere, good service, and the food - both classic and adventurous combos, are without fail delicious and generous. Consistently excellent.
It's a small but really comfortable place serving good food at reasonable prices. There's always a wait for a table, but you can be sure the wait is well worth it. Their sandwiches are absolutely amazing and the cakes are to die for.
As we all know, free wi-fi is always a plus, so just go there and
I went there a few times for dinner and am always happy with the experience. Tasty food, nice waiting stuff and reasonable prices for the area. I wish they would update their menu from time to time, feels like it has been the same for quite a while now.
Some lovely brekkie/ brunch options... Eggs cooked just right, and lovely sourdough bread. There's usually a 30-odd minutes queue to get a table, but it's so worth the wait.
Tip: Have a post-brunch cocktail, only a couple of options but they're fantastic.
This place serves a good traditional English breakfast, with lunch options that vary daily. You definitely need to have an acquired taste for some of the menu items, but they are well-prepared. Service is pretty good, prices are reasonable, and they have good Wi-Fi.
