Authentic and popular independent pub in Angel. They have recently gone 100% vegan offering a range of burgers, mac & 'cheese' etc. Could possibly be the first 100% vegan pub in London? Busy on a Wednesday evening, we hadn't booked and were very lucky to get a table by the bar.
Love this vegan menu - the 'mozzarella' sticks were a personal highlight and my friend loved the seitan burger and fries. The chorizo and jalapeno grilled cheese sandwich was nice, but the second half felt a bit dry/became a bit of a slog. Maybe just needed a bit more sauce. Wouldn't fault anything
Great beer, and superb vegan food. Its also dog friendly so take your pooch for a pint and a burger.

The food was gorgeous. Their 2 4 1 food bank offer on Mondays is great. Great atmosphere. Will be visiting again with another bag of food donations.

Great food options for decent prices. The vegan food is more of the burger/meat substitute type and less veg-orientated. But they do a really good job emulating chorizo, fish, cheese etc.
The staff are super nice as well. Really enjoyed this place.
Being married to a staunch vegan finding somewhere we both enjoy is rather a problem but this place is the best, the food is so damn good that I don't want to eat meat burgers and same for the mac and cheese, it may not be haute cuisine but if it tastes that good I don't really care. Staff are exc
