Thoroughly enjoyed the food here! Dessert wasn't as good but the main was absolutely lush! The chicken was soft and seasoned very well, I'll be visiting again soon!
I went to this restaurant at lunch break of a congress in Excel London. We were passing by and trying to decide where to go and suddenly we saw this restaurant and decided to go inside and have lunch.
I have to say I was really happy for that decision,the restaurant was full of congress attendees but the service was really nice and quite quick. The food was fantastic,really colourful and full of flavours.
We paid a fair price for the quality of it all and actually if I ever go back near Excel I will definitely go back again.
Felt like it was the kind of joint I'd walk past everyday and I'd just never end up going in.
My flatmate decided to order a shish taok wrap and a side of fries. We ended going back to Al Masar three times that day. Wrap was juicy, chicken was cooked well.
The lamb chops here were cooked to perfection and were generously sized with a delicious layer of fat on that wasn't too thick. Melt in your mouth. Chips cooked well and the onion, pepper, pickle salad was well dressed to accompany the meat.
Tasteful interior, good service. Came on my own at a quiet time but felt comfortable. Its also bring your own drink. Reasonably priced. Recommend
Yummy food at great prices for central London. Everything we tasted authentic and fresh. I personally also loved how many vegetarian options there were. My personal fave was the hummus and the baba ganush!
Very Testy Middle Eastern food, very good for Keto and Carnivore Diest especially the Meet Shawarma, also this is Halal Food Restaurant as mentioned by the owner.

I love that place. I try to come here every time I am in London. It's not fancy but the food is delicious. The hummus is just perfect and so is the kafta meshwi.

This restaurant is one of a kind. I couldn’t resist the Charcoal-Grilled Main course. The chicken kafta was seasoned so well for such an amazing price with amazing Lebanese spices. The chicken was so tender and so soft. I’ll be visiting here soon again. Thank you to the owner for opening up this business.
I had an amazing meal today, the quality of the food is very high (and I'm speaking from years of experience with Turkish and Middle Eastern foods). The staff and management were very friendly and attentive. I will be back again with more people!
This is my favorite take away in the Borough area. It’s a bit pricey but the food is amazing. My kids love it too, we always order the chicken shish taouk and tabbouleh with hummus, so many flavour. One of our healthiest take away.

My friend and I were looking for a place to eat and we came across this restaurant. Never eaten Lebanese food before so we decided to give it a try, and we loved it!
The staff and, I assume, the owner were nice, helpful and attentive and the food was very good- hot and fresh. Maybe we've ordered a bit too much but it was worth it, a great way to try out different starters and a main course. Especially loved the falafel because I usually don't like it but it was incredibly good here!
Also, loved the fact they gave you tea with the baklava.
All in all, it was a nice experience and we'd recommend it to everyone!
Well don't underestimate this restaurant! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! The atmosphere was delightful cause the gentleman that served us was very polite and welcoming. The food was delicious and filling I would go back! In London on vacation with my Wife and Son and mostly every restaurant I've been too was nice no complaints really but this restaurant I had to write a review as soon as I got back to hotel. So thank you Al Masar family for making our night special. Tourist from Bermuda 😀😁😉
Ever since this new young manager took over, the quality of both the service and food has become incredible. Cosy, relaxed atmosphere with a bring your own alcohol policy and not to forget the mouthwatering food. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Go for the Mixed Grill.. wow

Have been there twice and food was great with excellent customer service. Very quick and perfect warm to eaten in short lunch break. Waiter was good advisor and had particular knowledge on the menu. Very good service for quality.
Will recommend to anyone who love Lebanese food and spice too.
I had the mixed shawarma wrap deal as takeaway. It was very tasty, but it was hard to communicate in order for them to understand what I want exactly and at the end another waitress came than the original one & she didn't give me my drink. When I discovered it, I was already far.
Overall it's nice, but the waiters need to be more careful.
Really good customer service - my go to order is the mixed grill, can’t go wrong! They have the best garlic sauce I’ve ever tasted and I literally can’t get enough.
