Went to see a play in their little cosy theatre above the pub. It is great. It accommodates around 50 people (maybe 40?). Seats are very close to the stage and if you want or not you feel like you just become a part of the play. Definitely worth to experience once if you are looking fir non commercial, old school, trendy little theatre with its own charm! Personals behind bar very friendly, always keen to serve you fast. Unfortunately didn’t get chance to try food, but be back there for sure! Pub very clean and welcoming. Loved their old fashion Chesterfield’s high back arm chairs. Could sit in one for hours 😊
I had such a great time here last week. I was served by Chelsea who was so lovely. She pointed me in the direction of the Camden Stout, which I was hesitate to try, but she knew I would like it and I did. Will definitely be coming back again.
Lovely little find! No hot food but a great range of beers and a few snacks to make up for it.
Chelsea was super helpful in recommending which of the craft beers to try!
I went here for the Rainbow Umbrella Festival showing queer films made by queer creatives. I had such a lovely time meeting Mark. Thank you for hosting, making me feel comfortable & sharing queer films.
On top of that, the atmosphere was cozy & laid back, and the staff is very friendly.
I was attending an event in the cinema upstairs. I had a drink at the bar. Nice location, nice seating area, good windows for people watching.
Popped in after a visiting friends, was served by a lovely person called Chelsea, explained the different wine options and Rum choices to my partner, lovely atmosphere and drink choice, can’t wait to pop by again soon
Very nice pub and great selection of drinks. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Seian she was very professional and accommodating!
Lovely pub on Highbury Corner. Small theatre upstairs. Staff nice, whole place clean and comfy. Atmosphere was very relaxed. Pub is small, but quiet when we went so no problem getting a seat.
Lovely pub on a nice corner in Islington. Perfect place to sit outside when it's nice out. Great staff, especially Harry, he pours a phenomenal pint 👌
Lovely pub with a good selection and draught drinks. Good atmosphere and kind staff. Some board games available which is always a nice homely touch, and the bar staff were extremely nice when a game off Jenga smashed a glass !
I had a wonderful experience last week and Chelsea was a really friendly bartender who delivered incredible service and the whole atmosphere of the bar was brilliant.
Having a great pint before the Codeine show at The Garage, Islington. Harry the barman is super helpful and friendly too.
Great vibe, one of the first pubs I visited in london and wasn't disappointed! Chatted with harry at the bar and he was very friendly, will visit again!
