An excellent pub handily placed for the park/market. If you do visit be sure to go up the spiral stairs to the really quirkily decorated upstairs area.
Perfect wee boozer beside the park. Watch life go by on a sunny day or revel in the weird and wonderful decor inside. Toilets down the spiral staircase.
Really nice pub atmosphere in a pretty busy area. Managed to grab a seat upstairs, really nice vibe and cool pub deco.
It was good to see a nice ale on tap ‘Tribute’ from Cornwall.
However, did buy one IPA that cost £7, which for me seemed extremely expensive. Considering it was just a standard IP
Good place , a pub disco on my opinion as there is a dj set also. I come here for a couple of drinks and some food with my mates and I have to say : I really enjoy the time here. The food was good, the music make me dance and it offer me the entertainment I need on a Saturday night, and the staff wa
We had Sunday roasts, both chicken and beef. We were slightly disappointed by the chicken (the sage and pork stuffing was just a small meat ball on the side). The beef, however, was great.
Quantity for both dishes were very large.
Desserts were good but very (too?) sweet.
Had a deliciously saucy dinner here. Steak & ale pie with mash and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Unbelievably good. Great vibes in the restaurant as well.
This place is busy for a reason! Mark had us seated in 10/15 mins even though it was heaving. Had the cashew and mushroom wellington and it was delicious!! Great ambience, busy and vibey and the food is super good. FYI vegan vs. Veggie roast just means with or without a Yorkshire pudding - defo go f
Nice pub. The most important thing about it is that my team won the Tuesday night quiz.
Also it's got a nice atmosphere, comfy seats, nice grub, not too pricey, decent Guinness, and loads of tables.
Team Bill, immortalised forever as the winners of the Cat & Mutton quiz night. Yeeehaw
Lovely little pub on the corner of London Fields - definitely one of the nicest Sunday Roasts I've had. Recommend the pork belly; the portion sizes aren't huge but turned out to be a filling meal. Suggest pairing it with the pub's own cloudy cider which was very tasty.
Lovely Sunday roast and good nice airy location.
A splendid pub. Rustic wooded and natural interior. Large and open with tall ceilings and a second story decked out with comfy sofas and a view of the market and lone fields. Beer selection great as does he Sunday roast look.
We visited the upstairs for a big birthday party. The staff were excellent and the quality of the food provided was also great. As we stayed a bit longer other patrons were allowed in and it was nice to see that the pub is very dog friendly.
Finally I have visited this place. I have been looking forward to this for a while and I am not disappointed. It is a bit mad and a bar with a spiral staircase has to be good. Wonderful staff and great beer. Checkout the upstairs bar, it is the best. Make sure you call by.
Good pub, nice spot, good characters and generally great service. Occasional hassle from passers-by if you're outside, but would definitely recommend.
Pleasant setting in traditional Victorian pub with modern vibes. Friendly service. Didn't have cask ale available when I visited but may do at other times.
