Great local pub in Brixton was bussing on Friday night. Awesome selection of craft beers on tap and heaps of pub favourites on the menu. I had the chicken schnitzel which was excellent, and Stacey has the nachos which she has claimed as the best pub nachos she’s ever had. Get around it!
I really loved this place!! The Sunday roast is amazing! I could bring my dog with me and they were so kind with them brought them water and snack! I highlight recommence this Amazing place!🥰🥰
Popped in here for a Sunday roast after walking the entire Victoria tube line with friends. It sure was well worth it. Easy to spot and get to. Great service and the food was spot on. Ordered a G&T alongside it - perfect.
Wonderful Sunday roast, really packed plate - you won't be hungry afterwards! The lamb was lovely but the chicken was the star. The service was first class, really warm and friendly and excellent range of beers. Make sure you book ahead, it's very popular
Excellent beer selection and great roasts - a good amount of foodso that you are full but not leaving half the roast like some places. Some people in our group also found room for the cookie dough and waffle desserts and reported them good too. No photos because we got stuck straight in! We had tabl
Huge selection of beer, great food, friendly and attentive staff. Special mention of Justine!! Always welcoming. The quiz on Tuesday nights is amazing too! Always a good vibe and a wide selection of prizes. The quizmaster is an absolute legend!!! Highly recommend a visit to this pub! The food, the a
Service was absolutely faultless and the food was also fantastic. I didn’t get the name of the lovely manager or the wonderful bar staff but thanks from us all.
A pub with a great atmosphere (we visited early evening on a Saturday) and an excellent selection of beers. Service is very good and there is a large outside seating area. The food we had (4 tapas dishes) were all very tasty. Definitely a pub worth visiting if you get the chance.
Lovely pub! Great outdoor seating tucked away from the bustle, indoor decor is cozy. Sunday roasts are great, staff are really friendly and attentive! Especially for dog owners :) Highly recommend!
Had the absolute best experience at Crown & Anchor for a Christmas Roast with friends. We were a large group of 20, so I was super impressed with how quickly the food came out and we all got our food at pretty much the same time. I had the veggie mushroom, spinach and tofu wellington with cauliflo
Food fun atmosphere fun... Hate it when you know the person taking your order wasnt listening so got the order wrong so I ate at different times than my group.. But food was good, I think i was unlucky. Will go again. This is a good pub.
Visited on a Sunday and enjoyed their vegan sweet potato nut roast with salt and pepper roast potatoes and gravy. The vegetables were just boiled - so nothing special but still enjoyable. This dish is also gluten free (without the Yorkshire pudding). Lots of outdoor seating but also well-spaced if y
Nice pub with good roast on a Sunday! We tried to get in here twice without booking so booked and got in finally at third try :) Give it a go if you fancy not your normal tipples and a nice bit of grub!
Looks like a decent place, AI only ripped here for a drink but it was quite busy for a Sunday, most people had come to eat
An attractive pub and definitely one of the friendliest I think I’ve even visited! We had a dog with us and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, including treats for the dog. There’s a wide selection of beers on tap, and whilst we didn’t eat on this occasion, the Sunday Roasts coming
Top rated veggie roast in london, didnt dissapoint. Veggies al dente, generous portion, really lush nut roast (normally a red flag) and despite it all coming covered in gravy it was lush. Enjoyed with a classic couple cocktails inclusing a frozen/slushie margarita. Yum. Yum. Went earlish for sun lun
Really nice well kept pub in a good location lots of space inside meaning you can have a good get together here The staff were incredibly friendly and there was a good range of beers on tap
Good range of beers, £2/person quiz night every Tuesday. Nice interior .. but the food is pretty expensive for what it is! Basic pub food.. I had a green salad with halloumi and it was £9.50! I have eaten a bit of the salad already in the picture attached but it was not very big to start off with! O
We came here for Sunday roast, and not only was it one of the best Sunday roasts we’ve had, but very good prices and service/staff were amazing.
