Honestly 10/10 - we went with our kids and friends; it was possibly the most delicious, stress-free dining experience with kids we have had yet. The kids enjoyed their chicken and chips and then ran off to play in the playground, which was fully visible from our table, leaving us to enjoy yummy cocktails and food, whilst always keeping a watchful eye on our kids! The kids enjoyed the freedom this set up gave them, and we enjoyed the freedom this set up gave us... The epitome of a win - win parent and child dining experience!!! A restaurant must-visit with kids on a non-rainy weekend! We have been raving about it to all our parent friends, we will be back for sure!

Absolutely incredible food! All dishes are full of flavour, generous portions and great presentation. Delicious! Very nice environment as well, we sat in the conservatory and it was really pretty and romantic with the fairy lights. However, I have to say that the food is very similar to Casse Croute, its sister restaurant, and Casse Croute is more authentic french bistro environment and slightly better prices, even though both on the costlier side. But worth for special occasions, unbelievable food!

Having tried their sister restaurant a while ago, it was evident that we had to try this one too: and we absolutely LOVED it. For starters we had the pate and white asparagus before sharing the lamb shoulder which were all incredibly delicious. With the sun out, the terrace was the perfect setting for a good way to end the day.

Really delicious food with great service and atmosphere. The steak was definitely the highlight of the dinner for me, and the seabass Wellington was very special indeed - not something you can eat anywhere else so do give it a try! Best shared among at least 4-5 people as the portions for main dishes are huge and are designed for sharing.

Brilliant. Excellent in all regards. Four adults with two six year old kids. Bonus stars for being next to a playground. Menu was simple and very well executed. We had the pâté en croute and white asparagus with a Vin Jaume sabayon to start. Excellent. The mains were the Coulibiac and the Roast chicken… both were exceptional. Kids were provided with a breast of roast chicken and fries. They were very pleased. Brett, GM/Wine Director, was lovely and it was great to chat with him about wine. If I lived here this would be a regular spot for us.

Absolutely fantastic. Went to Pique Nique for my birthday with 14 people and it was amazing. So many different aspects to mention.. the place is gorgeous. We ate in the conservatory area under all that natural light and it was never too cold or too hot. The food was incredible ! We had pre ordered dishes for the group and the flavours were so so delicious but the presentation was impressive too ! So many 'show stoppers'. Service was the best though .. Alex and his colleagues took amazing care of us. Fulfilled all our requests, got us all the wines we wanted, gave us their attention and care and made us feel so great. Thank you so so very much!!! We will absolutely be back.

OVERALL Decent food, specifically- great carpaccio(starters), amazing lamb! (main) and beautiful baked alaska. Quite cute setting to bring a date if you wanna take them to a slightly hidden place. However, I can find places cheaper that tastes the same or better. (People on a budget BE WARNED). Here's the breakdown: MAINS Roasted chicken and potatoes - slightly dry chicken, potatoes well cooked and good sauce 7/10 The saddle of lamb Ratatouille was exquisite (highly recommend) perfectly seasoned, Ratatouille okay made 9/10 🤩 Boullibaise pathivier rouille - decent dish with good layering of pastry (unfortunately slightly burnt) & slightly over with the fish 🐟 5/10 STARTERS Starters Seabream carpaccio - amazingly prepared 9/10 🤩 Smoked mackerel tartlet - mackerel was fresh, pastry was flaky and well made but the dish did not tied together well and was dry 5/10 Pigs head terrine and heritage tomatoes - the tomatoes were yummy! well seasoned and prepared however the terrine was far too gelatinous in bits 6/10 DESSERT mille fuille - perfectly flaky not too sweet but ration of creme to flake slightly off 7/10 Baked alaska - theatre, taste and texture all good 9/10

Evening meal for two. We shared the Burrata with pumpkin sauce and later the beef sirloin. Both were exceptional. The servers were discreet, well informed, attentive and friendly with humour. An excellent evening. Thank you to all the team.

Just been to this wonderful restaurant again a few times this summer 2023 and their food is constantly inventive and superb in every way ! The latest artichoke starter was simple and yummy !!Another wonderful new dish ! Scallops in sesame pastry with bonitos shavings . Wonderful Went there twice since the ease down and the food is EXQUISITE for me and all my guests. Ambiance wonderful since they have built this elegant conservatory and you feel safe and sheltered from the weather at the same time. All the starters are so tasty and hearty. The wild garlic gnocchi was special. The mains with the Sea Bass in pastry , the Chateaubriand, the Veal out of this world. The tarte-Tatin a superb finish. Alex the sommelier introduced the best red Unlitro and the most interesting Banyuls. The serving team are like warm and wonderful friends to greet you back to normality in these times. Thank you David, Alex, Chloe, Pauline and Adel!. Patrick

Lovely setting and a really nice design within the restaurant. French cuisine, the fish wellington (I can’t remember the proper French name for this dish) (forgive me) was the stand out dish. The fish fritters to start were too oily to eat sadly. Waitress was very friendly.

One of the best French restaurants in London hands down. It’s not cheap but absolutely worth it. Just look at the pics that we took. 100% would recommend!

Amazing food. Great wine. And a pleasant location with a view of the Shard. You really can't go wrong here! Mains are meant to be shared. We had the sweetbreads as a starter and saddle of lamb as a main, both of which were perfection. Will definitely be returning!

Second time at Pique-Nique and still enjoy not only the food but also the service and guidance for what concerns wine. Cuisine at Pique-Nique is well executed, delicious, generous and at a fair price. Ideal for all type of event, I strongly recommend desserts which are very classy but still very tasty. Can’t wrong with this restaurant.

Great French food and atmosphere. However, the service does not match the standard and the quality of the food. The veal chop was excellent, would strongly recommend it. The souffle for dessert was a little disappointing. Would recommend it if you are in the area for some nice french food but be prepared for medium to bad service.

We visited Pigue-Nique for Sunday lunch and we were pleasantly impressed with the service, location and French bistro food. Definitely an hidden gem of Bermondsey Getting to Pigue-Nique was super easy. Parking is plentiful so it was easy to park up with a parking station just behind the restaurant. Street parking is free on Sundays. Service was top notch !! Friendly staff and cosy family friendly environment with a play area right in front for the young ones !! We enjoyed our lunch and wine while the kids played in the play area !! Food was amazing. We had the pate, ravioli, gnocchi and roast chicken. The roast chicken was definitely the highlight of the day. Was well cooked and super juicy accompanied with amazing sauce and baby potatoes .. it was just melted in your mouth ;-) We also had a great selection of wine by the glass. Waiter was well knowledgable on the wines and pick a perfect dry white to accompany our roast chicken. Dessert was just delightful!! All of us had the chocolate soufflé and it was perfectly done !! Love the dark chocolate sauce and dark chocolate ice cream. Check out the rise in the pictures ;-) We will definitely be back for more :-)

Came here for a nice Sunday lunch, very family friendly, great service, and most importantly amazing food!! We had the Pate En Croute, a different more sweet version of French Onion soup, Blueberry Soufflé with pistachio ice cream, and the highlight was the Bar En Croute (sea bass stuffed and baked in puff pastry), delicious and not overcooked, wow! We will definitely need to come back and try their other dishes!
