A firm family favourite, there's a reason why we go to Mogul time and time again - their food is fantastic, staff always welcoming and courteous and although a small restaurant, it still has a great atmosphere. One of the best in the area in quality AND price.
Polite and professional staff. My husband and I ordered a meal, only to discover it was not what we had expected. we explained the situation to the staff, who changed the curry from a creamy korma type curry to a lamb spicy curry.The manager came personally to apologise. We were trreated with curtousy at all times. Meal was delicious Thank you
The Mogul in Rotherhithe St. is a delight. The food is of an excellent quality, the staff are lovely as well as very professional.
The cost is very reasonable too.
Why not have a walk along the Thames Path and stop off for a delicious curry.
You won't regret it.

Nice resturant. Fairly standard Indian restaurant but perfectly clean and tidy. Plenty of tables free on the night.
They do not serve alcohol here, which was a shame and felt soft drinks were little overpriced.
The food wasn't the best Indian I've ever had but it wasn't bad at all. Far from it. I've happily come back again when next in the area. Serving sizes, as someone had an issue with it before in the reviews, wasn't a problem here. Probably a little more more, for me, than I would expect. I actually had food left over - which NEVER happens!

Small little Indian restaurant tucked away in a quiet pocket in Rotherhithe area. Good food with excellent and prompt service. Highly recommend if you are here for short stay.
Ordered from here for the first time and could not recommend it enough - food was perfect, came piping hot and was delivered quickly and by an incredibly friendly member of the team. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Love this place, great food, nice staff and not too expensive. Go for the Tandori Lamb Chops for starter followed by the Butter Masala, and you will not be disappointed!

Chicken Jalfrezi is very delicately flavoured and mixed grill was beautifully cooked. Most tandoori places end up blackening the food quiet a lot which I don’t like to eat. Mogul though cooks it perfectly with only the tiniest black points. Delicious.

Staying at the DoubleTree Hotel nearby and was looking for something better than hotel food. Well, this place is a real find, the owner is a lovely, chatty man and the food was fantastic. I was absolutely stuff and they even packaged up my left overs to take back with me. Highly recommend here, a fantastic Indian meal
Me and my friends had a great meal. We went here instead of going to brick lane and didn't regret the choice at all. Tasty food, relaxing atmosphere, nice staff, and BYOB available. Would go again
We have been using this neighbourhood restaurant fir years. The first thing our friends and family from abroad want is an outing to the Mogul for a great curry. The food is superb, the portions are generous and the price is great. No alcohol licence currently but they give you glasses for any booze you bring with you. Friendly and good service. Excellent chicken tikka dansak yesterday. I recommend this restaurant very highly.
Delicious, fresh vindaloo, naan bread, and rice. Nice decor. Quality Street chocolates with the bill were an appreciated touch. Prices very reasonable.
