Simply love it. I went 3 days in a row. One of the most outstanding aspects is the consistency of their food. It was always delicious. The staff is very friendly as well. Highly recommend!
We go to the Brick Lane stall pretty much every Sunday and LOVE it. The tonkotsu pork is the best we've had and the staff are lovely. Please open a shop over here in East so we can eat it more often than a Sunday :)
Since discovering Koi ramen bar in Tooting market, this is the ONLY PLACE I will now order food from. Hands down the best ramen I've ever had! The gyoza are pretty awesome too :-)
For obvious reasons ..................😉
KOI Ramen is one of my favourite places to eat in London so I was thrilled when I found out they could cater for my 40th. The team was superlatively amazing today and everyone raved about the food with most children asking if they could have seconds (the adults swiftly followed suit!). Thank you so much! ❤️☺️
Love this place, I get the tonkotsu pork ramen every time I'm in Brixton. Staff are super nice as well!
awesome tokatsu and Gyoza! eat here all the time in brixton. very nice staff.
Fantastic vegetarian Gyoza ! Love it I'll come again for sure !!
Thanks for my miso ramen I just picked up from you. Couldn't wait, ate it straight away and yes you're right, its got up the right amount of kick!....Delicious and healthy. I'll be back every Friday for my Friday lunch treat! Cheers. Karen
Polite, friendly and chatty staff. Really good food, definitely coming back!
.....The Best Ramen ❤️ love it .....
Absolutely delicious! Had a Tonkotsu ramen in Brixton Market today, highly recommended. 5 stars
The best tonkotsu ramen in London!!! Amazing!!!!!
My search for Best tonkotsu Ramen is over. This is the best I've had in London. It's only £6!!!
Great ramen, full of flavours, just loved it. All made with pork slowed cooked for 12h
Warm and friendly service! Quick, good price and very very delicious! \(^o^)/
Just knew this afternoon that they open a weekly stall in Shoreditch every weekend. First time trying the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was exactly like the reviews I read before: the best to-go ramen in London. The broth was very rich, I love the texture of the noodles, the pork and egg blended in very well; and the chicken dumplings were delicious. + the staff was funny and very friendly.
Great value. Great food. Very busy spot but always prompt service. Limited menu, but great at what they serve. If you're looking for ramen, there's really no better option in Brixton and surrounds, in my opinion.
Great ramen! Staff are super nice and the prices are just unbelievable. The setting also is a plus, in the middle of Pop-Up Brixton. Give it a try!
When you hear hole in the wall, you don't think of it literally....
This my friends is literally a hole in the wall, but what a fantastic hole it is! Located in funky Pop Brixton, we came here for ramen and gyoza on a cold wet weeknight. Boy were we pleasantly surprised!
The gyoza would have to be one of the best I've had ever! It was juicy on the underside but sufficiently crunchy on the top. The flavours were clear and full, and didn't come across at all cheap or mass manufactured.
However, the ramen (we got pork) was just a bit above your standard affair. It was a bit on the salty side, and lacked a certain substance that failed to lunch through. Perhaps it was diluted too much, or lacked enough broth, it didn't blow us away, but it rather hit the spot. Happy that we were served by friendly Japanese ladies, this lifted our mood and with the surrounding decor really did feel like it transported us to faraway Okinawa.
We washed it all down with a bottle of Asahi and then continued to explore the lovely atmosphere that is in brixton.
Very tasty ramen... The pork soup was brilliant. The noodle was fab. This is the best ramen so far. Brick Lane stall is not one you could have missed in the weekend.
A great little find whilst wandering around Pop Brixton, which is infinitely less awful than it was at the beginning. On a hungover Saturday, a big pot of steaming tonkotsu was exactly what the doctor ordered. We took one with extra char sui pork (a must) and nigitaba marinated egg, plus 6 pork dumplings with the intention of sharing everything. We hoovered the dumplings down in minutes and then each waited impatiently as the other savoured the rich, creamy pork broth, tender meat and perfect noodles. It wasn't quite as good as Shoryu, but still excellent. The staff are sweet, funny and efficient, and it's a very viable option for great value tonkotsu in Brixton.
Pop Brixton is fast becoming my favourite spot in south london and it's easy to see why. Fantastic value for money for money and easily the best Gyoza I've ever had. 6 for 4.50 , grilled to perfection and packed full of flavour. It's a massive win.
This lovely street stalll previously stationed twice a week on Station Road, has now moved into a more permanent residency within Pop Brixton.
This is good news as it means they can open for a full week and my ramen cravings more easily fixed. I really love this cute little outlet and the tonkotsu ramen (there is a vegetarian option) is rather special. It doesn't have quite the depth of flavour such as Kanada-ya, Shoryu and the likes do, but it is still a very tasty pork-bone broth.
I always get extra pork and marinated egg to top the ramen to make it even more slurptastic and although prices have gone up a notch with the move, it's still very good value at £6. The staff are super friendly too.
Pork ramen noodles on a cooler day today hit the mark. Had previously not tried Koi, and located within the Brixton pop-up currently under further expansion development, I did not need to wait long to be served with the menu options explained by the super friendly waitress. Agreed to the half boiled egg option together with delicious ginger, sesame seed and chili oil accompaniments for the pork ramen noodles and end result truly delicious and great value lunch.
Service was very goof as the staff ead always smiling and were happy to help. They offer a very nice and not super intense ramen broth which is great for people that are not used to intense broths but it keeps what a broth would taste like.
In my honedt opinion I would preffer something more intense but it is extremely good for the standards I had from other Ramem Shops in the UK.
They also offer quite nice proper Japanese drinks and most of their staff provide a very Japan-like service.
The place is small but it makes you feel like home whole being ambiented as if it was Japan. Really cool place in Brixton and will definitely come back to taste more food
We found it at our first evening, it's a nice small shop with friendly staff. The food was very delicious and spicy. If you stay in Brixton or near I would recommend trying it.
Amazing ramen. Super tasty broth and doesn’t feel too heavy. They only give you one small slice of pork (which isn’t enough for the dish in my opinion) you can add an extra two slices but of course these cost extra. Egg is also extra.
I’ve been here 3 times in the last 2 weeks, I love the place, super tasty ramen both in traditional (with broth) or naked version. Amazing quality/ price ratio as well.
Good ramen 🍜, but very healthy style. The egg is just a soft boiled egg, not the actual ramen style one. I recomend and a great lunch spot on a weekday, but not as a ramen guilty pleasure kinda thing
Small place but really tasty food. We liked the pork gyoza so much we ordered another set. Got the Tonkotsu and partner got the soy. Both really good. And we ended with the matcha ice cream. Will be back!!!

Great spot. Love coming here for vegan lunch
The miso one is amazing
The tonkotsu broth here at KOI Ramen Bar is incredible. It's somehow more fresh tasting and flavourful compared to the other places I've been to in London.
Great portions for a great price especially for London, and I'm so pleased that you can request extra toppings (for a small fee of course).
I'll definitely be back with family and friends!
An absolute gem of a place to eat in Brixton. I sat in for lunch as it was raining and thought I'd give it a try. Friendly staff and fantastic food at a great price, I was not disappointed.
Great find in Brixton, absolutely loved this place. The decor was great, staff were super lovely, but most of all, the food was delicious. Wish I had space for another bowl! Will definitely be returning back. It's a little small inside so don't know what it would be like for bigger groups but for a handful or a couple it's great.
