I went to this pub for a Sunday roast and I think is the most delicious one I've gotten in London, hands down (I've been to many pubs for Sunday roast before). I got the pork belly and my wife the vegetarian option (beetroot pie) and they were finger-licking good, like the pork belly was literally melting in my mouth, I'm not kidding. We decided to go to this one because it looked super pretty from outside and it's even more impressive once you walk in. You can clearly tell this place has been around more the longest time for the space feels very compact and the atmosphere like in the olden days. The staff was incredibly professional and charming. For a moment I even suspected they thought we were celebrities or something. They were not messing around, they really were serious about service. I no longer live in London, but I know that I will pay them a visit every time I'm in town.

Traditional British pub. I had a starter and roast dinner. I was very impressed by the food. There was a good selection of wine. The atmosphere was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Second time we have stayed at Fox & Anchor and had an amazing time as always. The rooms are eclectic and spacious, friendly staff and delicious food. Also in a great location close to the Farringdon station. We opt for the package that includes breakfast each morning as well as 1 dinner. If you are here on a Sunday highly recommend the roast.

Was recommended this pub by a colleague who entertains visiting colleagues from offices abroad. He is discerning so I expected good but it was great. Did not disappoint. Interesting booths in restaurant, enticing atmosphere, varied menu with quality food. Service was friendly, courteous and patient. A carefully chosen Wine list, proper British desserts. I'll be back with overseas visitors when they come to London for a real experience.

I ordered the garlic lemon chicken roast and it was so delicious! It came with so many roasted additions- beets, turnips, potatoes and carrots. Yorkshire pudding was so good.. ive only recently discovered this English wonder. What a simple but delicious addition to a Sunday meal. My partner got the fish and chips and they were battered well and tasted wonderful. Service was hands down the best we've had in London thus far. Our server Daniel was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Not to mention that the pub was v cute inside. Glad we stumbled upon this place on our last day in Europe. :)

We came here last week for some food and a few drinks. The food was lovely and Paul provided good and friendly service. We got the steak platter which was gorgeous and sat at the back in a little alcove area, which was nice as we were out the noise and business. And unusual but pleasant surprise if they have a humidor you can purchase cigars out of.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at the Fox & Anchor. The roast was delicious - very generous portion size. We were undecided on pudding and our waiter ended up giving us both of the options we were considering! The waiters were all very friendly and accommodating. The pub itself has a lovely cosy atmosphere. 10/10!

We stayed in one of the 6 rooms at fox & anchor. We also dined a few times during our vacation. We cannot say enough good things - great location, 5 min walk to (2) different underground stations. The food was delicious. We had the fish & chips and the burger. Highly recommend both - juicy and flavorful. The French fries were a late night snack for us after a couple of tiresome days. The room was outstanding. We stayed in the market suite and it is truly a suite. Tons of space, beautiful amenities a and a private outdoor area! The bed was the only complaint. It was a little stiff for my husband. But everything else was great. Lovely snacks and fully stocked fridge each night. We took advantage of the espresso machine each morning and of course, the copper tub. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is a large, narrow staircase to go up, so just note your luggage will need to be carried! We loved our stay - highly recommend!

We rented a room for 8 days above the Pub. We were able to enjoy a private balcony with our room which was very cozy. It was a very nice experience. The staff were super nice and helpful. The food was really excellent. If you have the chance, book for the Sunday roast. It's probably one of the best in London. I would go back without hesitation Thank you so much
