No only was the location and the food fantastic but the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. I would recommend Zobler’s to anyone!
I have been dining in deli's for more than 60 years. I've eaten Lox in L.A., Nova in New York, Corned Beef in Chicago. And in all my years, I've never eaten in a delicatessen as delicious (or as gorgeous) as Zobler's.
We ate there for the first time yesterday, and plan on going several times as we explore London on our vacation.
Excellent food, excellent service and very reasonably priced. We also enjoyed the live band at the hotel bar after our meal. Loved it all!!
Delicious beyond belief, a taste of NY In London. Wish we had one of those in NY
That's the restaurant of my dreams. I Hope you 'll invite me to dinner some times
Visited for breakfast. It’s located at the rear of the Ned hotel in the heart of the City. Plenty of seating. The service is OK, but a little slow. Food is good, with an American theme running through the menu. I played it safe with poached eggs, but the pancake stack looked fabulous.
Great for bottomless mimosas for 20£pp for 2h. Recommending the chicken waffle. Quick refills by the friendly staff. They accept big group bookings for brunch, but table is way too wide, so can’t really talk.
Great space, lovely and attentive service and tasty food. So many more things to try on the menu! Only thing to change would be the red velvet cake felt like it came straight out of the fridge so was cold and dense.
Note: Upgraded to 4 stars. A casual experience in a classy hotel. It does have the feel of a NY deli. Food seems authentic with lots of baked goods and Latkes on display. We went for the Zobler's Reuben and Skyscraper as pictured. Both were good - the Reuben had thick slices of corned beef with the Skyscraper being well presented with quality ingredients. The black and white cookie is soft baked and like a cake. We will visit again due to central location and relatively tasty foods. It is self service which makes things faster. Good if you are in a hurry.
Really nice deli. The caesar salad was OK. My hot dog was really good - great quality. The Asian spicy honey chicken was a winner. The mac and cheese and fries authentic. The only let down was the cheese cake - not enough crust and the cheese cake itself lacked any tartiness. It was just plain and rich. Even the salted caramel and pretzels which were a unique touch couldn't save it.
A very good Reuben sandwich. Not the best in London by any means but a decent effort in an impressive surrounding. Have now been a second time and would stand by that, but add two positive notes. Firstly it is still a very good sandwich indeed. Secondly, it is worth going to simply gawp at The Ned, half in horror at the City boy decadence of it all, half in awe at the scale and style of the place.
Tasty smoked salmon toasted bagel was customised to my tastes. Good chewiness - not as doughy as a more traditional NY bagel, which is a plus in my view. Hot dog looks pretty hefty too.
Classic and tasty NYC Deli! Part of the NED hotel / restaurants so do expect a noisy atmosphere but fast service, not too expensive (bear in mind the chic location) & food was tasty and bang in line with our expectations! Will come back again but clearly not suitable for a business lunch nor a date ;) my2cts!!
Was in the area and feeling a little bit peckish, so went for two starters. As always, really good quality food, enjoyed my visit a lot!
Their latkes and deviled eggs are amazing, I would also recommend the Turkey Club Sandwich, which is not only delicious, but a very big portion as well.
Their Black and White cookies are ok though, had better elsewhere so it would be amazing if they could improve the recipe a bit.
I would also appreciate to be able to buy some plain bagels to take away, and not only as a sandwich.
Great place for late drinks! Awesome cocktails. The dessert was just okay. Staff is welcoming and friendly. The place is stunning and you are likely to get a table if you show up after 8:30pm.
Excellent food... slightly long waiting times.. napkins are tiny- maybe bring yours:) but on the over all was a really nice team lunch.. definately do again
You're certainly paying central London prices, but the food was delicious and the portions were certainly big enough. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Being situated in an old banking hall certainly added to the ambiance.
Fantastic food that was reasonably priced. The cheese cake was classic New York. Large portions and nice atmosphere. Very nice!
The high ceilings of the Ned make this inappropriate for a proper business dinner/lunch, but great if you’re looking for a buzzing atmosphere. The service at Zobler‘s was attentive and pleasant and the specials (Veal Schnietzel) lovely! The wine list is full of goodness so you can pretty much close your eyes and let your finger randomly guide you.
Most impressed by the service.
So delicious! It's a fair size portion, perfect for an early lunch
Very good food with friendly staff. I was there for an early meal, prior to my flight. Although empty I was helped quickly and the food was outstanding.
I've been several times and always loved it but beyond the reasonable prices, excellent food, and beautiful environment, what really stands out is fantastic, patient, friendly, service. I had my wedding upstairs and our rehearsal dinner here and they were just absolutely lovely to us, a large group, a bunch of Americans. I go here any time o crave matzo ball soup, but it's great for just about anything. Do note, the portions of the chicken mains are quite huge and the spicy chicken dish was very spicy.
Delicious food but quite small portions - we all ordered seconds! Luckily it's fairly priced so it came out to the normal brunch price you'd pay elsewhere. Delicious cocktails too! Highly recommend the mimosas!
