The Cyclist - London - Photo album

Great relaxed place with a nice brunch! We had the Full English & Eggs Benedict, and both were delicious. Love the hash brown “logs” (a good balance of crisp and soft inside)! Cappuccino was good as well. Friendly service, plenty of seating both in and outside.
Visited for my lunch break. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Love the atmosphere for the afternoon! I was able to enjoy an afternoon drink, and get some admin work done. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
Amazing chicken Sunday roast. Huge portion, proper big crunchy Yorkshire pudding, lovely gravy. Loads of chicken, four roasties. Swift service if not a tiny bit perfunctory (busy girls smile less it seems) but the place has a nice atmosphere and even when busy the service was highly efficient. We'll
Sunday dinner here is exceptional. The veg/vegan option is tasty as rated by other members in the party. But if you like meat and have meat loving friends, the shared dish of the shoulder of lamb was divine. We had a doggy bag as we could not finish it. Lovely staff serving, great ambiance even thou
Such a cool spot in Balham and highly recommended. All of the staff that I encountered were kind and attentive and Owen is a baller bartender! Try his tequila old fashioned, you won’t regret it!
Amazing service, just got in rain and my phone battery gave up for today, pub across a road suggested to pay via card payment to charge my phone (not possible as my phone is holding payments and I don’t have the card on me). However here in this pub I was welcomed and given phone charger, great atmo
The Cyclist is a very nice pub in the heart of Balham. The food is very good (had the Ceaser Salad), and the Guinness is pretty good (much better than most in London). The service was excellent when we were there....it was a Sunday and so it was nice busy not mental busy. It's definitely a nice spo
Absolutely loved the music! Service was top notch, food was good and cocktails were amazing. We had a few starters, burgers and a pudding. The bao was spicy with good crisp to the chicken, whipped garlic butter on sourdough was really good too with the bread stealing the show.
Went here for xmas dinner, it was good standards food nothing amazing. Had soup which was nice but bread was a little hard. The nut roast was nice and the chocolate mousse was very good. Prices are reasonable for the area. Service was a little all over the place but not the worst.
The staff here are the friendliest and fastest I've ever encountered, all of them were so attentive and our food was served so quickly (10 mins after we ordered at peak lunchtime on weekend). My chicken and halloumi wrap was amazing and well worth the money !
Lovely lunch place. Great atmosphere. Good food. Service is a bit slow but mostly is due to unexpected staff so it will get better. Definitely will go back.
I kind of want to gatekeep this place but I can't as it was too nice. Went for a Sunday roast here on NYD. I've tried a lot of roasts in SW London and this was easily one of the best tasting, best portion size and best value. Prices are pretty standard but the portions are huge with plenty of meat
The highlights: - blood orange sorbet, ginger sorbet - smash burgers (add some veg at request) - regular chips (triple cooked were a little underwhelming) - chicken was perfectly flavoured and cooked - Espresso martinis What could be improved: - hard cold butter - the bread - broccoli could be a li
Omg ! I stopped going in here for food for a little while. But its back to its best - the original chef is back and the sharing plates are unreal. Had the cauliflower croquettes, truffle parmessan hashbrowns and romesco brocolli. All 10/10. Amazing.
