Maharani - London - Photo album

We had a party for 30 people and the food served was amazing. We had Pappadums, chutneys and salads for appetisers, followed by Fish Cutlets, Vegetable Beetroot Croquettes for starters. Then arrived the Mutton Kosha, Alu Gobi and Yellow Dal Tadka for Mains with Pulao rice and Naans. We finished with
Interior looks a bit tacky, but the food was great. After asking about the menu, we could customize pretty much all dishes. We had vindaloo added to several dishes which turned out amazing. Highly recommended.
We ordered the jalfrezzi and chicken naga. Honestly, the best curry I’ve eaten in ages. The curry was as hot as I’d hoped and the service was excellent. Make sure you eat here
Wonderful food, enjoyed every mouthful. Very fresh, highly recommend 👌
We were regular customers 20 years ago and went last week when we saw it was open. Same owner and chef and it was delicious! Loved it and will be back again!
I cant believe I have only visited this place now, after living in the area for a five years. The food was so nice! Full of flavour. The menu was great too. Had many seafood dishes and was reasonably priced too. Staff was attentitive and helpful. Bathroom was sparkling clean. Will definetly be back
Not very imposing from the outside but once inside the food and service was excellent. If you want alcohol maybe ask if you can take your own as not available during our visit.
We went there last week and it was just as great as I remembered from many years ago. I can’t find a better pickled lime chutney anywhere in the world!
Very accomodating and great food. Would recommend for large groups!
Good curry! Great service. I’m vegan but they were very helpful and made me everything I wanted without ghee etc. Bit too full to write more. Enjoy!
Had the chicken tikka masala. A little too sweet and a little too coconut for my taste.
The takeaway service is phenomenal, can't wait till the restaurant is refurbished for some more formal dining. Best curry still to this day! Since early 00's when I moved to Camden so many curry houses have come and gone only the best remain for a reason. Cheers Mike
I could have missed this place, had it not been recommended by a friend and influential member of the local community. I'm so glad that I did not. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. It is Bangladeshi if I am not mistaken. A Wonderful variety of food on the menu, with twists perhaps unknown to t
The food was absolutely amazing! Tasted great! Definitely recommend the food to people who like Indian cuisine. The service was 10/10. The waiters were very polite and friendly. I had a great time at Maharani and cannot wait until my next visit to this fabulous restaurant. The atmosphere there is am
Granted I haven't been here for years but am pleased to see other reviews validate that this would still be my favorite Indian restaurant in London. Staff was always welcoming. I was at college and when we had to go back home they made our "last supper " into a family celebration. I still dream abou
First time visiting Maharani as I was recommended by a friend. We went in a group of 14. The staff are so well mannered and always ensure that you are alright. They are always there if you need anything. I love a good Indian! Maharani in Camden is definitely a place to visit if you are ever in town!
One of the best Indian restaurants I know. I am from Germany and visit my daughter in Camden regularly. The appetizers were excellent especially the tandoori chicken a treat. The mains very yummy, the meat great marinated. For desserts there was no room in the stomach. Priced a bit more expensive th
