3 out of 5, must try harder.. Dined at The Emperor last night with my 2 daughters and where the first people in (Monday 6pm), we where sat in a nice spot, in front of the TV playing a pleasent aquarium DVD. Gentle lighting and a warm ambiance The staff where friendly and the food very nice. The bill for the three of us came to around £66 including a 10% service fee, which I thought was an acceptible price.

I would have given this restaurant 4 out of 5 if it wasn't for 2 things. (1) The second group that came in where sat immediately next to us, this was annoying as the restaurant was completely empty, so why sit another table on top of us??, (2) The 10% service is included in the bill, yet the girl who brought me the credit card machine asked in front of everyone if I'd like to leave a tip?.. I angrily told her it was already included.

The food was delicious with a good variety to choose from. The staff were all very friendly and service was excellent. Food arrived very quickly each time we ordered. A little expensive but thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

The food is really lovely here. I need a really lovely buffet every day from 5 o’clock for two hours for £32 per person where everything is fresh cooked brought to your table that you don’t want food. Otherwise you have to pay a little surcharge but this is understandable-the only minor downfall is that the waiters do constantly come to your table, checking if you want refills even if you have a full drink and they do ask multiple times if you’re ready to eat which can make you feel rushed, but all in all the experience is lovely. The food is lovely.

Love this place as our local they now know me by name. Really friendly and you really get looked after as both eat in and while waiting to collect. Food is great, sadly good food is getting a little pricey which is to be expected with the cost of living. This is no exception you get what you pay for and it’s well worth it

Absolutely amazing! The spining table was a winner! We had the buffet menu, I think it's portions we're very good, better to order small quantities and if you want more they will give you more instead of ordering loads and then food will go to waste or pay £6 and you can take it away. The service was phenomenal I cannot applaud the man that served us tonight he is a STAR. One of the lady's was very unfriendly and seemed very angry, however this man's politelyness and friendliness made us forget about her. I really do believe it's price fairly, for the food you get, usually seafood is expensive and you can have as much as you like. The food was very taste tasty too. The sizzling dishes is an awesome experience. Thankyou Emperor.

Great service, beautiful restaurant and amazing food. Around £30 for a table service all you can eat. Includes starters, duck, soup, mains and a dessert.

Lovely buffet food, they only put a small, but healthy amount of food out at a time so the food is always fresh when you go to take it, would defintely recommend the Sunday lunch buffet, the evening buffet is great too where you order by the plate, but more expensive than the buffet but both is all you can eat!!! Great food, great atmosphere

Typical Chinese restaurant with that unmistakable Chinese taste that never lets you down, couple that with a caring service, my wife and I enjoyed a lovely lunch.

First visit here after many years and the food was absolutely delicious! We had the unlimited buffet (served at table) at £32 per person and thought it was good value for money. We had soup, duck & pancakes, a selection of appetisers and then a selection of main courses including two of the sizzling dishes, plus desserts. The salt & chilli squid, paper wrapped prawns, sizzling seafood and sweet & sour pork were particularly good. We also really enjoyed the lychees and the toffee apple with ice cream. The price of drinks was also very reasonable for a restaurant (less than £20 for a decent bottle of wine). We used to visit this restaurant in the past but not done so for many years. This visit reminded us just how lovely the standard of the food and value for money is here. Service was good and efficient but perhaps only gripe is that the staff can make you feel a bit rushed .....but that didn't spoil it for us or stop us ordering as much as we wanted! 😉😋. Will certainly visit again!

Best all you can eat by a mile, not that you have to have the buffet menu. All cooked fresh too.
