First time to temper. I heard mix review. But my experience was good.
Ordered few side meat dishes with steak and fries to share. It’s a more meaty restaurant for meat lovers.
Pork rib was great and the steak was cooked to medium rare just like how we like it. Fries was decent.
This place was amazing. My husband and I came here during our visit to London from the US. Their brisket was SO good that we ordered two! Husband enjoyed the steak as well. And the spicy corn was also yum! Super Friendly staff as well, highly recommended!
The formula with tapas to share is nice, so you can try different dishes. Overall the dishes with meat and seafood were good but definitely too heavy. On top of this I would have wished for a better vegetarian option, the one I have tried was pretty average (pumpkin was not well cooked and didn’t have much character).
The service was good and friendly and the place is cool.
We spent around 110£ for two, without wine/drinks.
We had a wonderful time at temper. The food was great but the service was even better. Lorenzo provided a top notch experience from the moment he greeted us at the door. He was very personable and took the time to go through the menu and explain everything in detail.
My wife and I shared some small plates and a delicious fillet. The aged beef nachos, prawn tacos and the pear old fashioned were highlights for us. We'll definitely stop back in next time we're in town!
If I could give more stars I would!
The food was great but the star of the show was our waiter, Zak, he never missed a beat!
He spoke to us with joy and confidence and amazing nonchalance, it was hard to believe he had only just started at the location!
We are coming back providing we can be sat in his section again!
Impeccable service by a true pro!
Food was super. It was interesting, well made; the steaks were just amazing. The service was splendid from all. Special mention goes to our waiter, Lorenzo who was very good indeed. The whole of our party were really impressed.
A very buzzy kitchen and although I really liked the food, I didn't love it. It's also fairly expensive for what it is.
We had a range of small plates (pork rib, crab and beef tacos) and they were very tasty, although probably on the heavy (oily) side. But I think this is part and parcel with this type of cuisine. We did leave full, but it probably isn't the place to have a long dinner, it's quite loud and most of the tables are in the gangway.
Still, a nice evening out. Good cocktails too.
Many talk about how the Porterhouse is that good it doesn’t need a sauce — deservingly so. The other dishes were ordered by a friend, both with Indian influences: lovely but could be spicy for those who can’t take the heat. Lamb with prata is tender enough. Lovely place to chill & multiple birthdays celebrated that evening we visited. Located near Covent station
Flavour, flavour, flavour! Outstanding. Was recommended by a friend. We went for the brunch but were not hungry enough to justify the price so asked the waiter on how best to order and his recommendations were perfect. Have a look at the photos and try them all. Ask the waiter to figure out what they are called! :) FOOD: 5/5 (unbelievable flavour on every dish. Must try the rib, the Temper chips, the deep dish Brigadeiro cookie with Fior de latte ice cream). SERVICE: 4/5 (nice, polite, fast but nothing notable). VIBE: 4/5 (relaxed, busy and centred around the central cooking area, cool). OVERALL: will definitely be going back and can't wait for it.
Delicious, well priced, excellent service and outdoor seating. Dog friendly too, so I was very satisfied all round
Came here for bottomless brunch, although I found the food to be very basic, it’s clear the restaurant has a lot more to offer than burgers. The service was very attentive and fast. Cocktails were really good. The place smells like a butchers so maybe don’t bring your vegetarian mates here.
