Went to the Clissold Arms with a party of 60 people the food was amazing from our starters to the main course and desserts. Nothing but compliments from all my guests who attended the party, i was amazed to see some England footballers who play for various premier league clubs with their wife's and kids enjoying their food and having fun ! Great atmosphere and great service i recommend to everyone having a party , family going for a bite to eat or even if your going for a quiet drink decor is very nice, the outside garden brilliant and all staff and management were very dedicated and very polite very well run restaurant thank you for a great time i will recommend to all my friends and family and all my guests that attended will also recommend and we will all be coming back their more often Great Place !

Great !. This is a great gastro pub and worth a visit . Better than the Bald Faced Stag near by .

I do not say this lightly but this was the best Sunday roast I’ve had in London after 25 years of trying. Fantastic salt marsh lamb, slow cooked with perfect veg and very special kale with a garlic twist. Dessert was also pretty epic, baclava made with honey, dark walnuts and Greek ice cream was just perfect. Coffee also very good. We haven’t been to the Glisold Arms since before 2020, we will return before the end of the week.
Met up with 2 friends, hadn’t seen for 22 years, lovely place, manager/owner could not do enough for us. We all had the Lamb Roast, omg wow, so much lamb and so succulent, has to be up there with one of the best roasts I’ve eaten out.
Complimentary baklava, which was amazing.
We will be back.

Wow, what an atmosphere! Just wow. We have order few things and there was a nice surprice from the owner. We had a special greek drink offered for free of charge plus fruits after. Not even offered, the owner has brought those without asking. Just wow. There should be more places like this where you are treated as a very special guests. The owner of the restaurant came to speak to us and was very kind. I really reccommend this place, but Not only because of the free surprises, but mainly because of the taste of the food, the atmosphere and a beautiful design inside and out. Just love it!
Great and friendly staff. Everybody was so lovely, welcoming and accommodating to all our needs. The staff also recommended items to us that were really delicious too! I had the Sunday roast which was amazing and a great price for such a big portion, the steak here is also fantastic. We were given some of the baklava to try, our server told us the story of how he used to make it back in Greece, the traditional way and how he still uses those methods now. I would urge everybody to try it, it’s stunning! Lots of space outside, to sit now that it’s summer too! Overall, really great vibe and we will be coming back!!😊
The Clissold Arms was able to arrange a family gathering at very short notice, to remember a recently departed loved one. The ambience, staff and food could honestly not be faulted and to be able to cater perfectly for our needs was amazing. We settled on the (authentic — there was a Grecophile among us) Meze buffet. Portions were generous and doggy-bags gladly provided. We had the Kinks Room, in honour of the two main band members, Ray and Dave Davies, who famously ‘emigrated’ to the nearby Muswell Hill as youngsters. A brilliant experience.
Solid 4 stars. Located halfway between east Finchley station and muswell hill. About 15 mins walk away from each. Parking onsite for 3-4 cars. Lovely outdoor seating with plenty of tables in the courtyard. Dog friendly.
Good Greek food on offer. Had a couple of entrees (spanikopita, tatziki) and good mains of lamb shank and octopus. A tasty meal with good portion size. Friendly service.
About £80 for 2 with a couple of drinks. Happily return.
Wonderful afternoon spent today at The Clissold Arms. We booked a private function room (The Shed) for a special surprise 60th birthday celebration for a loved one. They were accommodating throughout the booking process and service on the day was excellent- we felt well looked after. Food was on point and delicious. Two thumbs up, would recommend without hesitation! Thank you Clissold Arms for making a memorable occasion extra special.
A visit, to see where The Kinks started, a great time to be brought up musically! Really enjoyed my visit, the staff put on a load of Kinks music for me, thank you. Beer was good, cold and hearty. The lads on the bar were lovely and so polite. The Kinks Room at the front is ideal for any pop pilgrimage. There is also a huge outside area an much foodie things to be done. A lovely place to visit. Also, it turns out Ray Davies lived over the road, wonderful.

The room was huge and so cool, decorated, comfortable, and just ideal for a 3-4 hours party, music was top!
We had the Kinks room which was so cool, full of history and great design!
The food was excellent! overall I couldn't imagine a more perfect event for my wife who was also so amazed, THANK YOU AGAIN!
Went there especially to see The Kinks room. I wasn't disappointed. The room is a fitting tribute to an iconic band. Had a lovely pint of pale ale. I'd like to give a special mention to the barman, Costos. He was very welcoming and a great advert for the pub. God save The Kinks
