Charles Lamb Pub - London - Photo album

Nice, authentic boozery, seemed pretty quiet and relaxed on Saturday lunch. Very friendly service. The burger, unfortunately, was overcooked and somewhat flavourless, chips were great, though. German Helles beer on tap was a great option.
Excellent backstreet pub, lovely customers and staff. Good beer too and a bit of history surrounding the eponymous Charles Lamb. A poet and Philanthropist. visit and enjoy
Cosy pub, good selection of beers. Difficult to get a seat sometimes but worth a visit
Nice ambiance, well kept cosy pub with board games and decent food
A great pub located in the backstreets of Islington with a friendly atmosphere. A fair choice of reasonably priced drinks.
Lovely local pub, just far enough off the beaten track to avoid the masses of Angel. Very good selection of beers and a very relaxing atmosphere. Cosy in winter and in summer lovely to sit outside of. Haven’t eaten food here recently but in the past definitely above standard pub grade.
Great place, loved it since the beginning. Went there for dinner with friends and I have to admit I wasn't expecting such good food. The place is very cosy and the fish we had was very well made, definitely a nice touch of Italian food. They also had the Italian Spritz which was a novelty to my Engl
Great spot for Sunday Lunch. Getting the between 1230 and 1300 usually seating not a problem. Food generally good and the Gasping Goose cider is great. Perfect place for a decent lunch and a drink, along with a good book.
Are you still open for business? I came by on 3 weeks ago (Fri) at 12.30 & you looked very closed. And I've phone but never get a reply. It's always been one of my favourite Islington pubs by far. What's happened?
Great little cosy place. Nice staff, very friendly. They have many options on the menu, great selection of drinks and foods. Not many seating and quite a small place
Cute and cosy little pub with friendly staff and tasty food. Their selection of beers & ales is not huge, but what they have is really good. I had a pint of Dark Star Hophead ale, and it was lovely :) They also had a good background music, which added a nice touch to the atmosphere in the pub. Free/
Best pub in Angel. Staff are great fun, the food and beer is second to none. Get warm, play with the dog and rest up with a good pint.Small and cozy and gets busy for Sunday lunch so not great for really big groups..
I went there for drinks and dinner this evening, opted for the steak and was treated to a beautiful bit of steak along with some very tasty sides. Friendly atmosphere and staff, just get there early if you want a table.. it's pretty popular even on a Tuesday! Highly recommended.
