Visited restaurant twice over Christmas period. It is very quaint - like sitting in someone's living room! Food is excellent and genuinely French. Try the chicken in blue cheese sauce - lovely!

4.5 stars. Food excellent. Blink and you'd miss this place. Small restaurant with a French chef who cooks and serves. Food very delicious. Had the cheese and scallops to start and rabbit and duck for mains. Duck was a standout. You need to be a little more patient as it's a one man band. If we go with this attitude you will enjoy if not then you were forewarned. About £110 for 2 with dessert and a couple of drinks.

Authentic French restaurant with really delicious food! Service was also very good, knowledgeable and unpretentious. Don't understand the comments about the decor - it's part of the charm UPDATE (15/04/2023) - this place is as great as ever. We had the oysters which were super fresh and my steak was so buttery and delicious.

Ambled past before opening time and welcomed in. So glad we were. Authentic French bistro food like this at home costs £10 min/course more than this. Unpretentious and delicious. Wish we were locals!

Perfect for a quiet dinner date, from 18:30-19:30 it was pretty much empty when we went. Really good food, totally worth the price and trip if you're farther away. So far whatever we have chosen it was really good. Been here three times. Food is so good we keep forgetting to take a photo of it. 😅 Edit: we remembered! They have a handwritten menu, like in good French restaurants, which is a nice touch.

Authentic. It’s very difficult in London to find authentic restaurants and les associes is one of these. A small, simple restaurant with few tables, hidden in a residential area. But what a surprise! Lovely food, friendly service. It feels like being home, wherever that could be. Highly recommended.

Wonderful small French restaurant, hidden away between Crouch End and Hornsey. The food was amazing, and very reasonably priced. The menu was hand written and the presentation was fantastic.

Such a travel in time and place experience! The chief is fenomenal - a true French with an attitude. Good was delightful - chief assisted wirh any special request we had and even offered his own twists to the recipies that weren't on the menu. Menu itself is beautifully handwritten. Definitely worth visiting, and I will definitely return again.

Blew us away. A very unassuming house. Every meal was a 10/10. A rare find
