I hold monthly comedy nights here - I totally recommend getting in touch with them if you want to hold an event there. The colleagues at Cafe1001 are great, the venue is cool, comfortable couch seats, brilliant music system, and overall a great place to be! Thanks Cafe1001

Really nice place to go have an English breakfast in Brick Lane. It was delicious, complete with all that should be included in my opinion, and quite cheap.

Another great little hangout on Brick Lane.  They also have a BBQ grill out front.  I had the Chicken Schawarma which was very nice.   Maybe could've done to be spicier...

I'd add this one to my super-relaxed hangout list.  It's one to recline on worn leather furniture with coffee, bagel and the macbook and idly work and watch the world go by.  You certainly see all sorts down that way...

This is hipster heaven. People have drawn on the tables, there are old battered sofas where east londons skinniest Jean wearers lounge about writing up their novels on their MacBooks.
There are some pastries and decent coffee during the day and during the night there's another section out the back for DJ's that's dark and grimey. When I went it was a dubstep and drum and bass night. (This was a few years ago)
It was a good night and everyone was friendly if not a little euphoric.
There's benches outside where the smokers congregate drinking their cans of red stripe and talking about their latest records they picked up from down the road.
Not a bad place at all. In fact I don't know why I haven't been back, its got a nice laid back atmosphere and there's a BBQ outside to boot.

Well decorated, cozy and homey place. You'll love it. Located in Brick Lane. Their focus is on British Cuisine, bu they also offer nice burgers. I tried their coffee, which is great and quite strong ! Perfect before a morning at work.

Prices are fine, and you should spend 35 £ for two people to eat there. It is a nice ambiance, very good to bring anyone with you. The staff was prompt and welcoming.

Enjoy !!

Cafe 1001 is really nice place to be at, we can choose wherever we want to be and how we want to sit (outside, inside, downstairs, upstairs, on couch, chairs, stools...
I usually take a hot chocolate with soya milk, not expensive, very good, the staff is friendly even though it is a busy place.

1001 is one of the East End's must go bar/club - well, it's a bar in the evenings when people pile outside to share benches over cans of the jamaican redstripe beer, and it's a club on weekend afternoons when djs tear the place up with london's craziest genres and newest beats. This place is hype, cheap, full of weirdly dressed people (they're apparently pretty cool too) and should be on every youngster's 'must go' list. Enjoy, in moderation.

Decent spot for a bite to eat. The croissant sandwich was lovely and service was friendly. Has a modern feel which lacked atmosphere but it was busy for a Sunday. Not bad value for money either.

Ultra cool space, Hi Fi retro music themed bar. Right in the heart of Brick Lane. Always lively and full of a trendy crowd of beautiful people all enjoying their drinks. Weekends is when this place is banging and we'll worth a visit if your in the area.

Cafe 1001 is a fantastic spot for a coffee or beer in between shopping and sightseeing. They also have a nice variety of pastries and fizzy drinks. There's also plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. 👍

I visited the cafe on a weekday morning. It’s a large, bright, and open space with an industrial aesthetic, an upstairs and outdoor seating as well. The pastries looked beautiful and the sandwiches appetizing. There’s a wide selection of cold drinks on display as well as coffees. My breakfast sandwich was prepared quickly and the service was good if a bit lacklustre at the register.

Gorgeous and spacious cafe with a quirky atmosphere and nice music. I wanted to leave a review to mention the lady with the ponytail at the till who is always smiley, really polite and kind. Every time I am in she always has a genuine and warm smile. I come here to grab a coffee between jobs and it makes my day. 💖The delicious coffee is a plus ☕️✨

We have walked passed Cafe 1001 many times when we go for our Sunday stroll through Bethnal Green road to Brick Lane on the way to Spitalfields Market, but we never went in until today. We just wanted to sit down to take a break and discovered it was a perfect place for that. It was about 2:30 pm and Brick Lane was pretty busy with people buying street food and eating on the street. We thought Cafe 1001 was a bar as there was a DJ playing and a bit dark inside, so we asked if it was ok to sit outside, but it was a real cafe selling coffee and stuff. There was upstairs and it was really nice. Tables were wobbly, so we sat by the window looking down Brick Lane. To our surprise, it wasn’t busy at all inside. We felt lucky to find a great spot to rest. I love the sign for women’s toilets, and they were clean. I have a thing for toilets. I cannot do dirty toilets. By the time we left, it was getting busy. I think we were lucky to be there at right time. We will definitely go back! The music was good today.

It was one of the best experiences in London. Their coffee was one of the best I've tried, a real cappuccino. I'm still thinking about the sandwiches. The service was excellent. Amazing! Well done!!!

The Brunch Bap was amazing! Halloumi, “No avo smash”, spinach and sausage. The no avo smash didn’t taste like avocado but it was delicious. The coffee was also really good.

In the Heart of Brick Lane. One of my favourite spot in London. Live music, hardcore techno on sunday, amazing staff and lovely people! Located on two floor (ground and first) this great disco/pub will surprise you! If you're curious to witness what is concealed behind those big doors on the first floor, you should go there on a sunday afternoon. "And you'll see how deep the rabbit hole goes" The sofas are comfy and disposed in an harmonic way to help the customers gathering around easily. DJ sets during the weekend are gonna be ready to entertain you while you can drink a tap beer or chose of their cocktails.

I found this a quiet place (somewhat deserted) with an eclectic upstairs containing comfy sofas, Wifi and some power points dotted around the place, reminiscent of a student common room - so was a nice place to sit and chill for a bit. They have a fair range of bottled beers, including a few bottles of local brew. Didn't actually eat, so can't comment on their grub. Definitely worth a visit to relax; I'm guessing it gets a lot more lively when there's music playing.

Exactly what I was looking for. Artsy neighborhood and cool vibe. Great selection of food, full bar, and coffee bar. Plenty of comfy seating. If I had more time I would've sat here all day with my laptop drinking coffee. The breakfast I had was delicious, fresh and fairly priced. Loved!
