Went back yesterday for the first time in a wee while. Man the food has stepped it up hugely! Sides were lovely and the pizza itself was so delectable! Service was quick and friendly. Nothing to fault here :)

Everything about the restaurant is top class, the service provided by the staff was of such a high standard. When tables were vacated they were cleared in no time at all. The atmosphere was buzzing, and the food selection was good. Not just pizza but other very tasty alternatives. First class eating house.
You would ask why review a Pizza Express, there are 140 of them in London alone. With the same menu, decor and style, there shouldn’t be any point rating one individual joint. However I submit to you, that in a chain like this, once you have your food and beverage offering nailed, it is down to service to make a difference. Great Portland Street branch really shines as far as service goes. Of all PEx outlets I visited, their staff is by far the friendliest, the most customer orientated and servant hearted, in the best sense! Hats off to them! And antipasti is amazing 😉
Amazing vibe, superb service, delicious food! It's a must if you love pizza. Also great vegan choices and gluten free food and even beer. Love it!
I like the restaurant. If you want eat something fast you should stop there.
This restaurant is good at accommodating large groups as well as singletons, with a bar style dining area towards the rear. I’ve not seen this in the chain before but it works really well, however there’s their traditional granite tables throughout the rest of the place for a more traditional meal. The staff are friendly but not always the easiest to catch the attention of, for ordering additional drinks etc. On a couple of occasions now we’ve had drinks orders forgotten too but everywhere always seems clean and the food generally arrives in good time. For a quick no fuss bite it’s a fine option where you know what to expect!
Today, 8th of March I celebrated a my birthdays daughter with 9 children and I have to say that the food and specially the service was amazing. The manager, Andrea treated our group of kids like if they were their own kids. We were very impressed ! Thank you so much. Great place and great manager

Enjoyable family experience... had no problems with waiters general service.. got recommended a great bottle if wine by waiter to pair with pizzas ordered.... a little pricey so pay attention to what you order.. multiple drinks and a full course could easily set you back over £60 ..
Their dough for the pizza is FABULOUS, it is soft and tasty. However, their appetizers aren't up to scratch and the service is a bit slow, although the place was empty. The pizza ring concept is an excellent choice for a lite meal.

Faster service than my local branch and although noisy in ambience by sheer weight of numbers sitting dining, our reserved table managed to feel relaxed and hear each others news. Menu is getting a little harder to read. Can't say l like the orange boxes headlining the sections and the font size is a little small for us myopically challenged older people. The lighting is perhaps too low and if you're not a romantic couple on a date ld prefer my friends face lit well enough to read their expression but my Padana pizza was excellent. I will however return to my Leggera as its size is easier to digest and l missed the rocket salad garnish l get with that option. Plus they claim it's only 600 calories and you can't argue with that for lightweight. This branch of P.E. is also in a convenient location right opposite Great Portland Street station so if returning home after a day out in London why not choose to eat here before going back to Kings Cross or St Pancras where its much busier and a great deal scruffier.
Amazing place to spend time with friends. Lovely staff, very helpful and approaching with big manners. Pizza was one of the best in my life. Just you need to try ❤❤❤
I would recommend this restaurant. The service was very good. Our waiter was very personable, kindness and very efficient. Our food was very good. The manager has made the best team.
