The Plough - London - Photo album

I popped into the Plough to do some emails and grab some lunch on a Friday afternoon. The two female staff were welcoming, friendly and engaging. A burger and chips with a pint of Guinness was £11 - which is great value and tasted amazing! One of the best Greene Kings I have been to.
Delicious mash and pie and all the small plate’s bites and old English pub atmosphere. We were looking for a place with TV to watch a tennis match, this was perfect! Try Level Head bears when you here, I particularly enjoy the IPA!
Nice find for us out walking in London. Staff were friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere in the pub. We ordered a couple of sharing plates to eat. Food only took 15 minutes, which was very good and it was very tasty. Certainly recommend a visit if nearby.
Excellent Fish and chips! Good Beer! Great Service for the Polish woman!
Don’t skip this one! the most delicious fish & chips and steak & ale pie! the bartender recommended a great beer and we experienced fast service. a great place to stop in Bloomsbury for some British comfort food.
This excellent little pub is situated on Museum Street, just a 1 minute walk away from The British Museum. As a Greene King the food was priced accordingly which was fantastic for the location and quality of food. They offer a range of pub classics including pie and mash, fish and chips and mac n ch
Bought the 5 Mix & Share Pub Plates between 3 of us, and they were great! Very pleased.
Had a good lunch here - My travelling companion got the fish & chips, which she loved, was fabulous. I had a sandwich, which was a bit more disappointing, particularly the bread felt a bit stale and not great. Overall a decent lunch together. The location is great though, and has a good atmosphere.
I found the fish and chips quite good to eat. Nice place to lunch after a visit to the British museum.
I liked a lot. I had a sandwich with camembert and prosciutto and a delicious desert with custard.
It’s an authentic pub with the British interior and a typical menu. I don’t drink and they brought me a tea, however I came to try local fish and chips. The ordered dishes were delicious but too small. Clean toilets. There WiFi. Friendly staff
We had a great time here! We’d organised friends from all over the world to meet at The Plough (they were coincidentally in London!) and we had a blast.
The pub itself had a nice atmosphere and the food was tasty, but the service could be better. I am from the Netherlands and am not sure if this is just how it goes in London, but after 10minutes of waiting I walked up to the bar and asked to order, because nobody came to our table. (They knew we wer
I spent a lunch at the pub with my family as we were visiting London, the waitress Marina especially has been friendly and attentive. Fully recommend, despite the lack of kids menu. The pub is also in the perfect location if you're visiting the British Museum
It was a great experience in july 2016. I had a very cold beer! I intend to come back one day 😄
We stopped in The Plough just after a few hours in the British Museum. We had a great time and enjoyed the food and drink. We had the Steak and Ale Pie which is very good. Joanna (from Poland) is a lovely character working at the bar and served us. She was a hoot.
A delightful pub with classic quality pub food and a good atmosphere and friendly staff would highly recommend a visit
