Love this place. The coffee is good, the staff friendly, the food delicious. The cafe has a fresh, airy vibe and located on a cute corner on the high street.
In the 2-3 visits here I have never been disappointed.
Nowadays, I feel like we forget what it's like to cherish our own company. Whether it's a meal at a restaurant or an outdoors activity, we always feel the need to bring someone along. Don't get me wrong. I understand the merits of company and the importance of sharing experiences with others. One may argue that sharing an experience is the only way it can transcend one's self. But isn't it equally valid to say that we should try to cherish the experiences that we alone face? The experiences that we alone can describe to others?
I order a brioche with goat cheese and peppers. It's fantastic. Also, the staff is GREAT. Super friendly and on-the-ball. There are a few tables...not many. It seems to cater mostly to people like me...in and out. This is a good place. Hampstead is a good
When I first moved to Hampstead this was one of my favourite places to go. I'd come here for a cup of hot chocolate after work whilst waiting for my housemate. Only a very small venue with a smattering of outdoor tables for when the weather was pleasant. The flour free chocolate cake was to die for- one of the reasons I kept going back, all the big brand coffee shops seem to struggle with the concept of delicious gluten free treats, and instead offer up mediocre, chewy imposters of real cakes. Well done Gail's, I'll be visiting again soon!
Standard Gail's. Smaller than some. Had some original treats on show that looked like they were worth a try (pistachio, lemon and rose cake). We bought hot cross buns. Staff were kind. Loads of types of bread too, including plant based sourdough.
Amazing flat white to kick you up for the day, delicious soho buns as well, sorry, eat them too quickly to take a picture. Great refurbished #1!
I've had the latte here several times .. it's consistently nice. The Feta & Dill Escargot is also good ... downside is that some of the staff is neither warm nor welcoming, a turn off for me.
Perfect spot for a coffee break and people watching on the Hampstead high street.
Really good for brunch or breakfast. It gets crowded on the weekends and you have to sit outside, I'm a smoker so I don't care, but if the weather is not good... Sucks! Hahahhahaha. Other than that very friendly service and really good coffee and food.
Great trio to Gail's in the sun today and had an ice Americano. Was super yum and great seating outdoors. The baked goods smelt amazing and I saw alot of people enjoying them.
I will say they only offer oat or soya milk :( no almond even, would like to see this change in the future.
Good location on the high Street and very relaxed atmosphere in the sun.
If you liked my review please give it a 👍 and feel free to follow me on Google maps for more reviews!
Excellent little chain, and this branch has some nice (though very limited) seating. Had the reverse chocolate chunk cookie which is one of my favourite Gail’s products.
I love gails! Always delicious! The feta and spinach rolls are my favourite but everything is delicious and everything is a must try!

Very fresh, fast and kind service. The sausage roll is to die for: juicy filling, crunchy pastry, so tasty and scrumptious.
Tends to be a bit busy as there is no much seating indoors but the high quality bread, pastries, cakes (did I mention scones?) are worth the wait.
A family and a pet friendly coffee/ bakery. A tasty coffee with your favourite pastry/ cake. Highly recommended when you're in Hampstead Heath.
