Benugo is known for having not just its own outlets, but also partnering with many reputed organizations and providing them with their own in-house Benugo café – this same principle works for Benugo’s association with many public space institutions like museums, galleries, parks etc.

In keeping with the above, this café is located inside the Museum of London, right at the entrance hall. Like other Benugo outlets, this one serves a breakfast and lunch menu which includes many kinds of egg preparations, amazing deli sandwiches, salads & cakes, plus fair-trade coffees & teas.

I recall that after many an exciting but draining round of the museum exhibits, often plonking myself on a chair in the café and enjoying my perennial favourites from Benugo: Hot Cappucino, a Double Chocolate Muffin and a Orange & Almond Loaf – each about £2–3 or so, plus VAT. I don’t see either of those two bakery items on their menu anymore, not with the same name definitely – which is sad – but I believe St. Clements & Almond loaf in the current menu is the same old Orange & Almond cake I had so enjoyed;-) It had the beautifully citrusy flavor imparted by the oranges combined with the richness of almond, I think used in the cake as almond-meal as well. The coffee went very well with the cake. The muffin being double chocolate is by that virtue alone, irresistible to me.

Fantastic and efficient service. Nice selection of food: frittata, soup, salads, panini and wraps. Options for vegetarians, gluten free and even kids lunch sets. Easy access and space for prams/strollers and wheelchairs. Located by the entrance of the museum so great for a stop before exploring or once you're done.

Easy to get to from the British Museum. There were quite a few vegetarian options and they factored in our modifications. Prior to seating, they also let us know ahead of time it would be a 10-15 minute wait on the pizzas, which was appreciated. Pizza itself was good. Staff members were very helpful and kind. Only complaint is that some of the dishes and the tables were not so clean, but it looked like they were trying their best with the number of staff members available. Also, it was 3 pounds per scoop of ice cream and there wasn't much in the cup, although still delicious. Meets expectations for the food you would find next to a tourist attraction.

Hidden away inside the Museum, accessed through the main entrance. The sandwich I had was lovely! With a refreshing cold drink and millionaire slice.

Pleasant cafeteria with good staff. Part of the Museum of London (for the moment) it does good coffee and drinks, sarnies, wraps and the like.
