The Understudy - London - Photo album

Great spot for summer evening drinks. Can get quite busy so recommend booking in advance or going early. Plenty of seats around and you can always take a walk. I recommend their vegan pizza which is one of the best non-cheese pizzas I’ve tried. I prefer the normal fries over the masala ones. Drinks
I love the Understudy and have been coming for a while now. But recently I’ve felt it’s lost the individualistic feeling that it used to have. I loved how it felt like a real assortment of people working there, all able to express themselves in their own style- a real artist and theatre vibe! But no
First time going here this week and was such a positive experience. The staff were lovely, one staff member with an afro (sorry I could not get your name) and the manager, in particular had excellent customer service. I had to change my food order and they were so understanding and so helpful. (Than
Great little bar part of the National Theatre. We sat outside enjoying the live music from the Riverside stage. All the bars had long queues but the staff were polite and helpful and we got served quickly. We ordered some great food...chicken strips and Bahjia Potatoes...a timer was given to notif
An excellent spot for a drink set back from the river and away from the busiest areas of town. The team have a great selection (especially beers on tap) and friendly staff. As well as the bar there are seats, sofas, tables and benches inside or out, in the sunshine(if you are lucky!) or shade to sui
Great staff. Excellent atmosphere. Beautiful location. Food is fast, good value and tasty. Highly recommended.
Selection of 3 different fast/street food eateries in the same location. Food very good quality and great value, good ranch of drinks from the bars too. Option to sit inside or by the boardwalk next to the river.
Cheeky drink by the Thames before heading home via Waterloo. It was lovely weather so we loved the outside seating overlooking the River Thames.
Great location but it's become a little shabby round the edges over the years, the toilets are always flooded, the bar floor is somewhat sticky and it's so expensive. Cheapest pint now an eye watering £6.70.
Nice bar in central London! They ran out of a lot of the on tap drinks by about 7pm which wasn’t great however. Staff were friendly.
Really amazing spot to catch up with some friends or enjoy the vue on the river or catch a show they also serve nice food but I haven't tried it yet there an outdoor area and of course a indoor part you never know with the British weather 😜😜
Nice pub, gets busy and you can sometimes wait a bit to be served, but good atmosphere and nice terrace
Amazing place to hang out and chat with friends! Better to do the chatting outside though, the music can get a bit loud inside. Their beers are nice, and you get a guy who looks like Russell Brand serve you which is pretty cool I guess
