Nice and yummy , very clean and the stuff very helpful .
The food was so good
Very fresh and light but also super filling! Amazing and innovative topping selection and the quality of the fish is superior to all pokes ive tried. cool hip hop music vibes going on. A++++
Tried this lunch spot the other day, it does Hawaiian food, but more in a casual setting. Had their Heatwave bowl with salmon & spicy mayo, tasted quite fresh & spicy. Would go next time & build my own as there are many different toppings
Great, refreshing and very reasonably priced. The only downside is it can only realistically be take away as there is about 3 seats and always taken.
Cool Hawaiian concept, went for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. Fish was very fresh, many different toppings to choose from, i especially liked the almond turmeric topping. Was a bit pricey but worth it for the quality
A few weeks back I went to try out Ahi poke´in Fitzrovia, this was exciting for me, as I have not tried Hawaiian food before and I was anxious to know what type of dishes that Ahi poke´serve.
With Ahi poke´you can choose their signature bowls, Sweet green, Heat wave, Oahu and Side chick or why not build your own poke´ bowl.
1. First, you choose the base, either brown rice, quinoa, kale, or udon noodles, I always go for udon noodles when eating out, so I decided to do something different, so I chose brown rice.
2. My bowl needed protein, and as I chose a large poke´ bowl, I could choose two protein choices, so of course, I went with my favourite choices; salmon and tuna.
3. To give my bowl and added taste, I mixed the sauces sweet ponzu and sesame shoyu.
4. Lastly, was the topping, for my bowl Edamame, sweet potato, kimchee cucumber, burnt corn and an extra topping of avocado, my bowl was completed and all for £9.95.
When picking the bowl, I realised that the bowl was actually quite large but jam-packed with goodness, my choice to go with the brown rice was a great choice, as the brown rice sat nicely with the Tuna and Salmon. The burnt corn gave the bowl an unusual flavour tangy flavour. With the sesame shoyu tieing in a nutty flavour to the bowl. My bowl tasted so good and it made me feel better knowing that all the ingredients used in my poke´ bowl had positive benefits. Brown rice aids in cleaning the digestive system and is high in magnesium. Corn is an antioxidant, which protects the body, from diseases and is packed with lutein and zeaxanthin, which are two phytochemicals that promote healthy vision. Whilst salmon is known to be rich in Omega 3 and fatty acids, it is high in B vitamins and is a great source of protein. It is so cool, that you can mix and match when creating your own poke´ bowl, as the different tastes are endless.
For dessert, to cleanse my palette I chose their pineapple chunks in Earl grey sprinkled with coconut shavings. This was a perfect way to end my meal. Left to sit in the Earl Grey residue, the pineapple chunks are both sweet and refreshing.
What I love about this place, is the fast pace and the different consumers that come and go out of Ahi Poke´. From the university students, the locals and the office workers, all looking to pick up a healthy bowl of goodness! I also noticed that Ahi poke´ also sells through Ubereats and the orders seemed to be pouring in! So if you live locally, why not pick up a bowl?

Poke popularity in London continues to intrigue me. Don’t get me wrong though. I love the stuff and am glad to see I’ve got options on where to get it when I’m on the go. One such eatery is Ahi Poke in Fitzrovia. Ahi Poke offers a good – if London-ised – version of poke in a short but tasty menu with an assembly line approach to fresh preparation. Seafood is sustainably caught. Veg is locally sourced when possible. Prices are reasonable, which bowls ranging in price from £5.95 to £9.95. Service is friendly and speedy. The dining area is pretty basic but clean, well light and pleasantly decorated with fun and sunny wall paintings.
great healthy lunch options at this hawaiian concept in Fitzrovia. the fish tasted fresh & sauce was very tasty. not enough dessert options though, but will definitely go back when in the are
I love investigating different food cultures so when the invitation came to review Ahi Poké – a new, casual all-day restaurant serving Hawaiian raw fish salad bowls – it was a no-brainer. Poké is a Hawaiian culinary staple consisting of raw, chopped and marinated Ahi tuna, topped with rice and vegetables that developed in the 1920s as an outcome of mass Japanese emigration to Hawaii bringing about a fusion of Japanese gastronomy with South Pacific produce. If you didn’t know that you really should catch-up – apparently there is a poké scene that is all the rage in LA and now it’s here. Catherine and I both chose one of the signature bowls. The Oahu (rice, Ahi tuna, red onion, radish, coriander and sesame shoyu sauce) and the Heat Wave (quinoa, salmon, avocado, kimchee cucumber, red onion and sriracha mayo (priced at £7.95 and £8.45 respectively. The fish and vegetable elements were deliciously fresh and both bowls had plenty of flavour and textural interest with the Oahu being sweeter and the Heat Wave fierier. However if you so wish you can build your own custom bowl by selecting a base (quinoa, rice, udon noodles or kale), a protein (Ahi tuna, salmon, shrimps or marinated mushrooms), a sauce (sesame shoyu, sweet ponzu, leche de tigre or spicy mayo), as well as a selection of toppings including avocado, spiced cashew nuts, wasabi peas.We tried a lovely coconut and raspberry soft-serve ice-cream for dessert which was possibly healthier than it tasted. You have the option of getting a takeaway but if you want to eat in the 25 cover restaurant is a bright and cheerful space that reflects the sustainable ethos of the brand – I do wish that they had a loo though…! For a healthy lunch or light supper, Ahi Poké offers a good value alternative to the ubiquitous tapas bars and burger joints and is worth a visit. Aloha!
As one of the biggest food trends in the past few year, Poke has been popping up in some of the worlds major cities and finally arrived in London this year. Pronounced po-kay, Poke is the name for a popular marinated raw fish dish in Hawaiian cuisine, usually eaten as an appetiser, and is simply dressed with some scallions, onions, shoyu and sesame.
I ordered click&collect from this branch. The staff was very polite. The portion is sufficient. Food was fresh. The branch is clean and spacious. Maybe price could be a little cheaper but overall nice and tasty! :)
Love Poke House! So many options to customize your poke bowl.
Not a bad poké at all. We made a custom one ourselves and the ingredients were what we expected, nothing more.
The only thing that I would like to mention is that the big size has way too much "base" (quinoa, rice, whatever) in comparison with the amount of other ingredients, so I would go for the small one every time.
food is nice, service could be better and it’s a bit pricey but the food is really really good so it’s worth it every now and then

Great lunch.
Ahi Poké has a friendly staff that will jump to explaining the idea of Poké if you haven't ever experienced it before.
They have 4 presets/signature bowls that you can choose as a meal if you cannot make your mind up in vast choices of toppings, meats or sauce.
Went with the classic "Oahu" bowl which consists of brown rice, ahi tuna, red oniok, fried shallots, radish, carrots and coriander. Very filling and satisfying.
Would visit again.
First time having a poke bowl and it did not disappoint. Lovely little restaurant off Oxford Street. The servers were very friendly and helpful. I had the sweet greens but swapped out the tofu for the salmon. It was really good. I also had the yuzu drink which i really liked the taste of. Based on this experience is definitely go again.
Hawaiian salads, friendly staff and filled with healthy looking customers. Very tasty and different. A little on the pricey side for a quick lunch.
First time having Poke and I was not dissapointed! Had the large "Side Chick" (lol) which is spicy chicken mixed with brown rice and a ton of veg. Although it cost me £9.95, I practically got 2 meals as I couldn't finish it all! Staff are friendly too.
I loved my vegan bowl, the food was so fresh, a lovely combination of healthy and tasty. Would definitely go again
My favourite is definitely the Oahu Poke Bowl - absolutely delicious! I've been/ordered from here numerous times and it's always fresh :) Definitely a good choice if your looking to satisfy your Poke cravings!
Incredible! Best Poké Bowl I've had in quite some time, and the German guy who runs it keeps that place spotless and pays attention to every detail and makes sure that every ingredient is the freshest that it possibly can be. Found this place last week and have already been there twice.
Only downside is that they are not open on Sundays, otherwise it would have been three times. :)
Went for Side Chick, brown rice, nana-marinated chicken, corn, red onions coriander!!! Just amazing tastes delicious:)! As a takeaway pot, definitely recommend!
I popped into this branch of Ahi Poke for a quick dinner option. Very satisfied with the food quality and portions. The large bowl is £10, which is the norm for the area. You can also customise your poke with many different options.
Staff was friendly and helpful. This is non pretentious and efficient, and this is exactly what it is meant to be. I recommend the place for a casual bite to eat at lunch or dinner.
